I had a cozy evening in Cyndee's guest cottage surrounded by books and blankets. Some positives (in my book): wifi was lightning fast, it was easy to find, easy to park, easy to unload stuff, bed was comfortable (double-sized so plenty large for 1), the neighborhood felt safe, and (best of all) I had a yummy vegan breakfast and good conversation with Cyndee who is a lovely person.
The house was very quaint and unique. My group loved the upstairs area and the little things that gave it a special vibe. The area was safe and close to the wedding venue we were going to. It's only 30 min away from Philadelphia, which is a short ride when you only need to go see sites. The first floor was musty though. We stayed on the second floor any time we were there. It was also a little dusty and could use a cleaning. Other than that the stay was great. Cyndee was also very accommodating and kept the lines of communication open at all times. She was great at texting me and making sure I was okay.
Cyndee was great with the last minute booking. We had a death in the family, and my husband needed a place to stay for the funeral. It was great to find a vegan home. The cottage was interesting with a lot of neat books and things to look at. The only thing to mention is the musty smell. It did not bother him, but he noticed it and said if you are sensitive to smells, it might be bothersome. Otherwise, it was a great stay.
She welcomed us upon our arrival, was very pleasant and inviting. A vegan breakfast was prepared our first morning and scones the following morning, a very tasty treat! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, no issues with loud neighbors or anything else. The listing was accurate and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. I suggest this spot to anyone looking for a nice little spot in a quiet area and friendly host.
Cyndee was absolutely accomadating and communicative. It was great to get out of NYC and enjoy some nice relaxation. Close to Philly but far enough away to get peace and quiet. The cottage is very charming! Would totally stay again!
Cyndee was a perfect host and made the most interesting breakfasts for me.
She joined me every morning with conversation and good food.
The cottage is very cute in the living areas, when Cyndee finishes the downstairs renovations this cottage will just about perfect. I was very comfortable and slept well.
Thank You Cyndee
This cottage was adorable - very quiet and private with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room! The decor had an eclectic vibe and was very homey. Several cases of books were a nice touch. The neighborhood was great and very safe. Breakfast was yummy - vegan scones, and fresh fruit, and coffee, served with a great conversation with the hostess. More than I could eat! So nice to have a place to stay while traveling that provides a tasty vegan breakfast.
