Large, comfortable and fully renovated appartment in the heart of Little Italy : one of Montreal's hipest and most authentic neighbourhoods.

The place has a great big backyard which is becoming a garden, lots of light. Wide and comfortable bathroom. Large living room and eating area, and all the necessary accessories in the kitchen. You can cook great food bought at Montreal's best market: Marché Jean-Talon, which is 5 minute walk from the house. Also cble TV, free WiFi, classic board and Wii games (for you or the kids!). You will have a cozy and sweet time with your loved one or your familly here!

-Bus #55 which takes you directly downtown, and to most tourist attractions
-Parking on the street
-Jarry Park for walking, kids games, skating in the winter
-Jean-Talon Market boasts fresh local and imported goods (crazy fruits, veggies, maple sirup, meats, sea food, breads, wines... a food lover's paradise!)

-Caffe Italia, Montreal's best coffee (according to us neighours!)
-Many MANY restaurants, amongst my favorites
Le Pick Up: hipster hot sandwiches
Ellefsen: raffined swedish eatery
Vice et Versa: local pub and brewery

Many cheap and yummy vietnamese Pho (soup) places on St-Denis
and, this being Little Italy, countless wood fired italian pizza, pasta and trattoria places. My favorite is.... La Bottega!
So have a true experience of Montreal, like we live it, whether you want to go out and party, see the tourist attractions, or just chill and be more familly oriented. This is a place conveniently located for it all!

We felt like we were looking after a friends place, everything was so inviting. Val’s place felt like a home away from home. The place was super clean and looked just like the pictures online. Val very thoughtfully left out her blender for our baby and left us some yummy Montreal bagels too. We fell in love with Jean Talon Market and cooked at home 5 nights in a row. Don’t miss the candied Salmon and Onion Bhajis. Val was great to deal with and responded promptly to our emails and texts. As others have stated parking was easy and never an issue. We are looking forward to returning in a warmer season. Don’t hesitate on this one, it was great!
Super accueil, super appart, rien à dire tout était parfait !!!!
Val's place in Little Italy was fantastic and exactly like the pictures shown! Very clean and in a great location. Parking was easy to find outside the house or along the street. Loved the big soaker tub and kitchen ammenties. Beds were comfy..there were 5 of us. I only wished we could have stayed longer. Val was quick to respond to any questions we had and great to work with. I'd highly recommend this place to my family and friends looking to explore Montreal and would come back to stay again.
I spent 10 days at Val’s home, with my wife and 3 kids. We had a fantastic time. The neighborhood is very nice: close to the next subway station (De Castelnau), a bus at the corner brings you directly downtown (line 55 – 20 minutes), a lot of nice restaurants in the surroundings, a beautiful park with a free entry swimming pool (Park Jarry), and the market “Jean Talon” (one of the most important in Mtl). Val is very reliable and caring. Everything regarding her place was “as seen on screen”: clean and ready for our stay. Val provided us additional information in order to visit Mtl and Quebec and in order to reach the best places. We strongly recommend "Retro house: lovely Little Italy!"
L'accueil de Val a été très sympathique, l'appartement était conforme à l'annonce, grand, très propre, bien situé dans un quartier agréable, le bus à proximité, nous étions comme chez nous, notre court séjour à Montréal s'est très bien passé
Simply amazing. Val's place was very clean and the pictures you see are not staged, it's how you will be welcomed. She is extremely helpful and prompt, a pleasure to correspond with. Steps from the subway and Little Italy market, it is an ideal location to get anywhere in city quickly, or just chill out in the area with a cappucino. I have stayed in a half dozen hotels in Montreal, but I will check for Val's availability first from now on.
This was our first time using airbnb and thanks to Val it was a truly enjoyable experience. We communicated with Val via text throughout our stay and she always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Val even provided suggestions for street parking (to ensure we did not get any tickets), restaurants and places for us to visit around the city. She is a fabulous hostess and helped make this one of our favorite visits to Montreal. Her apartment was lovely, spacious, very clean and conveniently located to all our favorite spots. We will definitely contact Val next time we are in Montreal and will spread the word to our friends visiting as well.
Thanks again Val!!!
Val's place was as great as the pictures. I enjoyed using the kitchen and a soak in the deep bath. We had a good sleep (mattress, sheets and covers were great). The location was good-we forgot coffee and went to the local Italian grocery store. The bus was frequent to get quickly to the (email hidden)is was my first experience and it was everything I hoped it would be. Val is a great communicator and everything went smoothly. And we were welcomed with bagels and juice!
Everything about our stay was great! Vali's apartment was super clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The neighborhood is amazing, MANY good restaurants and hip bars and cafes within walking distance, including 3 on the same block. The Jean Talon market is a short walk away and a great asset for cooks. Street parking is easy and plentiful, we parked in front of the house several times throughout the weekend.
Vali was very helpful and communicative before we came, and she helped us wrangle a babysitter for our 2 small children (whom they LOVED). We had plenty of ways to reach Vali and others who would help us if we had any troubles, but we had no reason to reach out, just a carefree and relaxing stay.
We will definitely book her apartment again when returning to Montreal. The price was so low for the quality of the accommodations and the ease of use.
Vali's home was exceptionally clean and welcoming. It's conveniently located near the subway stop to access all Montreal attractions. We had a great time there. Thank you, Vali.
