A spacious light filled apartment offering superb views onto the historic monuments of Florence's Piazza Signoria. Comfort and charm and lots of local Florentine details characterise this wonderful apartment.
This beautiful apartment, created from a renovated covered roof-terrace, has become the new palazzo penthouse. The apartment consists of a very spacious living room from which guests enjoy an astonishing view! In fact, three large windows afford views of the Palazzo Vecchio, the Bargello, the Duomo and the Badia Fiorentina.
The main floor of the apartment includes a corner kitchen, a spacious dining area (seating 6), and a living area with plenty of seating and a flat screen television. A spiral staircase leads up to the oversized loft bedroom with a queen-size bed, desk and couch. The bathroom completes the apartment with its spectacular Duomo view from the shower.
The interior decoration is refined with antique hardwood floors, antique wooden doors, as well as the beautiful wood-beamed ceiling.
The queen size bed (160 cm wide) can be separated into two twin beds upon request. The living room couch pulls out to a queen size bed (160 cm wide) which can accommodate two extra guests, as does the couch in the loft bedroom (140 cm wide).

It is best to email us a few days before your arrival to fix a check-in appointment. If your arrival plans are flexible or change at the last minute, please give us updates from the road - For example, it is best to give us an update when you land at the airport or arrive at the train station. At the designated time, we will meet your party at the main door of the Palazzo to get you settled in to your apartment.
The Palazzo's apartments are "self-catering", and we do not have on-site reception or concierge services. However, we are always steps away if you find you need something during your stay. We can also offer you recommendations about everything from restaurants and museums, to tour guides and day trips. Please just ask!
As "self-catering" apartments, the Palazzo does not include daily cleaning or linen change, nor can we offer housekeeping of any kind. However, should you require additional cleaning services during your stay, we can recommend a trusted housekeeper.
I didn't even think it was possible, but the views from this apartment are even better than the pictures make out!
The location is absolutely mind-blowing. Opening the huge 15ft palazzo doors onto the Piazza Della Signoria every day was an amazing feeling. I'd honestly say there isn't a better located flat in the whole of Florence!
The apartment itself was great - exactly what was needed. Comfy bed, light streaming in from the huge windows and a good bathroom and kitchen area. There was no oven (but if you stay in Florence and attempt to cook anything yourself apart from breakfast then you're crazy!), but that the probably the only thing I noticed that wasn't there in the whole apartment.
I would happily go back there every year. Doubt you'll find a better apartment in Florence on this site or anywhere else.
Very nice apartment in a fantastic location. I got a huge kick out of opening the massive, ancient front door to the palazzo every time we came home. The bed was firm but comfortable. Very clean and well heated. Kitchen supplies and appliances were adequate. Plenty of towels provided. Washer and dryer is shared by multiple units but we were able to run a few loads.
A few caveats to keep in mind: the spiral staircase up to the loft (where the bed is) might feel a little precarious to some people, especially in the dark and/or when just waking up. There was some noise from the plaza late at night. The large old windows are wonderful for letting in light and air, but we also had mosquitos when we left them open one night (not a problem when we remembered to close them before dusk).
The pictures don't lie! The apartment was absolutely beautiful! Best location in Florence, an amazing building that makes you feel like you've randomly stumbled into a Florentine identity. The apartment is clean, with gorgeous views.
Leah was fantastic and ready to help with anything we needed. We were met by Ernestina who was a fantastic guide to the building, the city and suggested some amazing restaurants that were DIVINE.
Best apartment I've ever stayed in on a trip! Better than getting a hotel in this city. Piazza Signoria is the ONLY experience you can have in Florence.
You have to try the wild strawberry cake at Mamma Gina in Florence ! This was awesome.
