  • Great place, looks nice and clean. Great view (swimming pool, greenery and a bit ocean) and well located on the island!!
At the main reception they gave complementary coffee and bananas every morning around 8.

  • The place was very clean and well furnished. The view was beautiful. Grounds are immaculate. I will stay here the next time we come to Kauai.

  • Accommodations were adequate. Simplistic decor. Only two bath towels, had to make use of beach towels for our showers. Comfortable bed and sheets. Nice view of pool, bar and ocean in the backdrop from balcony. Shops out front but where half empty. Grocery and several restaurants nearby but not really feasible for walking to. Parking was somewhat difficult to find, not adequate for size of resort.

  • Wade's condo at the Astor Islander on the Beach was perfect. The resort and room had all the amenities we were looking for - beach access, pool, hot tub, bar, shops, kitchenette, and laundry on site. The room was clean with a very refreshing AC unit, and had a nice view of the inner resort and ocean. (Great for watching the sunrise at this eastern-facing location!) Staying in Kapaa/Wailua is also ideal because you're near the airport, and also acts as a perfect home base when you want to explore the north and southern sides of the island! Definitely will be back!

  • Nice place, great location. Room could use a dresser and/or a place to store suitcase. Only complaint was the pool was cold.

  • It was a perfect spot! Enjoyed the ocean view, easy walk to (and along the beach). Especially enjoyed a semi-rainy Friday night, sitting on the lanai, listening to great live music at the pool. The unit has all of the comforts that you need, and as others have said, the nearby Kilauea Fish House is "ono". If you are in the market for some special and reasonably priced jewelry, check out the Queen's Jewelry next door. We hope to come back soon - thanks, Wade!

  • Everything was exactly as advertised. Super convenient location right next to shops and restaurants. The pool's nice and the beach is great and not at all crowded (though a little rocky just at the water's edge so enter with caution...). We explored the nearby properties a bit and were glad to be staying here -- the beach was better and the resort felt uncrowded and peaceful.

  • We stayed at Wade's unit the Islander for three nights and had a lovely time. The location was great for exploring Kaua'i, well positioned as a homebase for exploring. The unit was comfortable, clean, and complete. Check in was easy and Wade was expedient with communication. The balcony was a nice place to sit and enjoy the evening. It's close to the beach, very walkable. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken whilst we were there, a disappointment for sure! But, a maintenance inevitability beyond his control. No elevators. Not a problem for us, but something I think others may want to be aware of, as it's on the second level, with exterior stairs. Small fridge and sink were just what we needed. But again, be aware, if you're looking to do some cooking, there's no stove. All around, a lovely experience, highly recommend to others visiting Kaua'i. Thanks Wade!

  • We had a great experience at Wades #241. It was in a great, central, location offering many options for beaches, dining and anything else you're looking for.
