Come visit Boulder and be close to Pearl Street, the University of Colorado and great trails for hiking and biking. Our apartment has a queen bed, huge double shower and a shady porch.

The space

We have a newly remodeled 600 square foot garden level apartment in the best location in Boulder.

Have your own little private getaway in the heart of Boulder.  We are located in the historic Whittier neighborhood, known for its beautiful Victorian architecture, proximity to the vibrant restaurants and independent shops of Pearl Street and quiet family atmosphere.  The tree-lined streets will make you feel at home in all four seasons but are especially spectacular in the fall.

We have a private garden level one bedroom apartment that we recently remodeled. It has a full kitchen, new shower with double shower-heads and a large bedroom with a super comfortable queen bed.  There is a large shady backyard with a covered porch ready for an afternoon drink or morning coffee.

The need for a car is extraneous in this neighborhood because everything you need or want is in walking distance.  From world class restaurants like Frasca to family friendly restaurants like Pasta Jay's; Pearl Street (which is only four blocks away) offers so many different food possibilities.  But in the other direction, (also only a couple of blocks away) is a Whole Foods, Target, and the 29th Street Mall.

University of Colorado is just over a mile away and the Bolder Boulder runs within blocks of the house. The location really can't be beat!

The public swimming pool is only a block and a half away as well as a plethora of good parks.   In the spring, summer and fall, the Boulder Farmers Market not only sells the freshest produce but also fresh coffee, street food and other delectables.

Speaking of coffee, Boulder has excellent coffee and there are about ten coffee shops within about a ten minute walk.  So during your stay, you could try a different coffee shop each day without leaving the neighborhood.

There is a washer, dryer and dishwasher in the apartment.  There is wireless connection in the house as well as a large screen TV with wireless hook-up. Come visit Boulder!

Guest access

You have your own private entrance with a porch, grill and sitting and eating area.

Interaction with guests

If we aren't skiing, camping, or traveling the world, then we are here to answer questions, help with the apartment or suggest great places to eat or visit.

Other things to note

Please check our house rules as we have children and don't allow smoking or drugs in the house.

Very nice and comfortable apartment! The neighborhood feels really good too. Beautiful and quiet. Coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Suzy put together a very helpful guide with detailed info on her favorite places to eat. She was also very responsive to all my questions before and during my stay. I highly recommend this apartment!

I travel to Boulder quite often for work. Downtown was about a mile walk, and it was an enjoyable and easy walk (even in light rain). I enjoyed my stay in this comfy spot.

We loved Suzy's place because it was in a great location close to shopping areas and Pearl Street. The apartment was clean and well furnished with amenities, even a gas grill on the patio. We made good use of the nearby bike trail to get back and forth to see our Boulder relatives.

We had such a great stay at Suzy's place, it was walkable to Pearl St and lots of restaurants. It was a great location to drive up into RMNP as well! Suzy recommended a couple of hikes that were close in Boulder and they were awesome!

Hands down fantastic space centrally located to EVERYTHING! If we had to do it again, we'd even go car less from the airport. Shuttle from Denver to Boulder and simply walk or rent bikes. So many options to take shuttles from Boulder to different hiking trailheads or into the mountains! Pearl Street is a short 15 minute walk to everything else - dinner, shopping, coffee, coffee, coffee... you get the idea. The apartment was great: clean, inviting, comfortable sleeping spaces. Really could not ask for more.

Suzy's place was wonderful - the space was big, clean and comfortable. It was a very easy check in and there were absolutely no issues with the apartment. It was well located and in a quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend!

We are a social couple in our fourties with twin boys. We enjoy cooking, having a glass of wine on the shady back porch, or going out downtown. We are very active and love to ski, fly fish, hike, camp, bike among other things. I also love to knit, sew and create things while my husband is also very handy and is always coming up with projects. We both love to travel and are the types who like to ride on the cheap, slow, local buses. We like to wander and get lost.
