About This Listing
Come visit Boulder and be close to Pearl Street, the University of Colorado and great trails for hiking and biking. Our apartment has a queen bed, full kitchen, and huge double shower and a shady porch.
We have a newly remodeled 600 square foot garden level apartment in the best location in Boulder.
Have your own little private getaway in the heart of Boulder. We are located in the historic Whittier neighborhood, known for its beautiful Victorian architecture, proximity to the vibrant restaurants and independent shops of Pearl Street and quiet family atmosphere. The tree-lined streets will make you feel at home in all four seasons but are specially spectacular in the fall.
We have a private garden level one bedroom apartment that we recently remodeled. It has a full kitchen, new shower with double shower-heads and a large bedroom with a super comfortable queen bed. There is a large shady backyard with a covered porch ready for an afternoon drink or morning coffee.
The need for a car is extraneous in this neighborhood because everything you need or want is in walking distance. From world class restaurants like Frasca to family friendly restaurants like Pasta Jay's; Pearl Street (which is only four blocks away) offers so many different food possibilities. But in the other direction, (also only a couple of blocks away) is a Whole Foods, Target, and the 29th Street Mall.
University of Colorado is just over a mile away and the Bolder Boulder runs within blocks of the house. The location really can't be beat!
The public swimming pool is only a block and a half away as well as a plethora of good parks. In the spring, summer and fall, the Boulder Farmers Market not only sells the freshest produce but also fresh coffee, street food and other delectables.
Speaking of coffee, Boulder has excellent coffee and there are about ten coffee shops within about a ten minute walk. So during your stay, you could try a different coffee shop each day without leaving the neighborhood.
There is a washer, dryer and dishwasher in the apartment. There is wireless connection in the house as well as a large screen TV with wireless hook-up. Come visit Boulder!
You have your own private entrance with a porch, grill and sitting and eating area.
Interaction with Guests
Starting in September 2014, we will also be traveling the world and won't be at our home. We will be accessible by email and we will have three wonderful people living in our house while we are gone. They can help answer questions or help with any problems.
If we aren't skiing, camping, or traveling the world, then we are here to answer questions, help with the apartment or suggest great places to eat or visit.
Our neighborhood is quiet even though we are only blocks from tons of entertainment, food and shops.
We have plenty of street parking and one off-street spot that is sometimes available. There are two bus stops within a couple of blocks that can take you to parts of Boulder that aren't accessible by walking or biking.
No smoking and absolutely no drugs. No pets allowed. Quiet hours from 10:00pm to 7:00 am, this is a family neighborhood.
My husband and I stayed at Suzy's apartment and we could not find a better, more perfect place to stay in Boulder. It's located on a quiet safe street with excellent parking and perfect for nightly walks to and from all the amazing restaurants on downtown Pearl Street. Check in and out was flawless and we were in love with the double headed shower! Hiking Mt Sanitas is very close by and visiting the Rocky Mountains, Denver and Fort Collins are easy drives. I even had the opportunity to run in the Boulder Boulder (a must if your there over Memorial Day). Suzy also provided a guide book in the apartment and a guest suggestion book which was super helpful for restaurants, coffee shops, bookstore, and hikes. We hope to be back soon!
This was a great apartment to stay in during my visit to Boulder. The location was within walking or short driving distance to everything I did while visiting. Everything was clean and comfortable and matched the descriptions and pictures in the listing. I'd definitely book again if I return to Boulder.
We were so happy with Suzy's unit! We booked very last min and it was all approved very quickly much to our relief.
It was very clean and everything we needed was there.
Not long to walk into town, really loved the pretty neighbourhood too. If we every come to Boulder again we will book this for sure!
The listing description was very accurate! It was a lovely apartment in a great part of downtown Boulder! Very close to Pearl street and walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Apartment had kitchen supplies, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great! Would definitely return next time we are visiting Boulder!
Suzy's apartment was super nice, clean and comfy and provided everything my parents needed for their one-week stay in Boulder. They had a great and relaxed time in the Whittier Neighborhood and say THANK YOU for everything! It was also nice to have their cat and dog visit once in a while :)
The neighborhood was beautiful and the house was warm and welcoming everything was as I expected it to be.

About the Host, Suzy
We are a social couple in our thirties with twin boys. We enjoy cooking, having a glass of wine on the shady back porch, or going out downtown. We are very active and love to ski, fly fish, hike, camp, bike among other things. I also love to knit, sew and create things while my husband is also very handy and is always coming up with projects. We both love to travel and are the types who like to ride on the cheap, slow, local buses. We like to wander and get lost.
Closest coffee to our house, amazing outdoor space in the back that nobody knows about and really good coffee (slow service but when you are on vacation, who cares, right?)Pearl Street Boulder CO 80302
