Interaction with Guests
Depends on how busy we are, we work both from home, and are sometimes offsite at our studio. Sometimes we are here all day and can have brief conversations, but generally if we are at home working we ask that people be considerate of our time.
We live on a quiet and safe residential block, in Fishtown one of the artsiest neighborhoods in Philadelphia, and with great nightlife and food options.
We are walking distance from many neighborhood hotspots: go dancing at the Barbary, drink beer out of a giant stein at Frankford Hall, have a terrific microbrew at Kraftwork, catch shows at Johnny Brenda's, go to an art opening at one of the many neighborhood galleries, or have an Italian feast at Modo Mio.
We are also very close to other great neighborhoods like Northern Liberties and Old City, both just south of us. Center City is just a short 10 min. subway ride away.
We are 5 blocks from the Market Frankford line (MFL), which will take you most anywhere you want to go in Philadelphia. (11mins to center city, 15 min to 30 st train station) 3 blocks from the Trolley, and numerous bus lines.
We are also right near i95, Delaware ave and the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Other Things to Note
If you have severe cat allergies this is not the place for you.
The cat is not allowed in the bedrooms so anyone with minor allergies will do fine.
*No smoking in the house.
*No shoes in the house.
*The cat is not allowed in the bedrooms. (But the rest of the house is fair game for snuggling)

*Please be considerate of other guests when coming in and leaving in the morning/ evening.
*Please be considerate of other guests in the amount of time you take getting ready/ showering in the bathrooms. (As in, if there are two other guests in the house, use your common sense and don't spend 2 hours showering and primping.)
Sari and Sebastian were gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome. Everything was clean and at times they were so quiet we weren't sure if they were there or not. We especially loved their super friendly cat, Ku!
We enjoyed fishtown and the easy Parking within a block or two. There was a lot to do within walking distance from great breakfasts to late night eats to record stores. We enjoyed having a home base and had everything we needed at Sari and Sebastien's. It was great to be able to do a load of laundry before heading out. It got chilly one night and we appreciated them turning up the heat for us Californians. We arrived way early and Sebastien did what he could to accommodate us.
Sari and Sebastien's home was very comfortable and clean. I had many people in my dance group staying at their place and they made us feel right at home. We only stayed for one night but we felt so welcome. Sebastien was very helpful when I had questions before we came. We communicated very well. Thank you again for hosting us!!
Sari and Sebastien were very accommodating hosts, lovely to meet, and flexible with our arrival time. They live in a beautiful home, creatively decorated, as they are artists themselves. The one floor devoted to guests is spacious, quiet and clean.
The neighborhood is an industrial trending one, with young people filtering in and a few nice bars and coffee shops springing up. While it is not in walking distance from the center of town, it is only a few stops away by train. We were glad we got to experience it because we would have not otherwise been drawn there.
The reservation was canceled 31 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We spent a lovely time at Sebastien and Sari's. The bedrooms are spacious, nicely decorated and welcoming.
Sebastien and Sari were great hosts. They let us check in earlier, made sure we had everything we needed and gave us tips to visit the city.
5 friends and I rented this place for a handful of days to go to a music festival, and it was a great experience. Sebastien and Sari were awesome hosts and were very inviting. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable spot in Philly for a few nights.

Sari and Sébastien are a couple of New York expats living in Philadelphia. We have a nice and cozy home that we love sharing with guests. Sebastien has lived all over the world and can speak to you in French, or possibly poor Spanish. Sari is just from New Jersey and can speak highly competent English to you. We are both artists and creatives. Between the two of us we design, illustrate, teach, and make art.
Honorable mention goes to our rotund but friendly kitty, Ku.
