We live on a quiet and safe residential block, just 5 blocks from the Market Frankford line, which will take you most anywhere you want to go in Philadelphia. Fishtown is one of the artsiest neighborhoods in the city, and has great nightlife and food options.
We are walking distance from many neighborhood hotspots: go dancing at the Barbary, drink beer out of a giant stein at Frankford Hall, have a fantastic microbrew at Kraftwork, catch shows at Johnny Brenda's, go to an art opening at one of the neighborhood's many galleries, or have an Italian feast at Modo Mio.
We are also very close to other great neighborhoods like Northern Liberties and Old City, both just south of us. Center City is just a short 10 min. train ride away.
You will be sharing the house with us (Sari and Sebastien), and our friendly and sweet cat Ku.
If you have severe cat allergies this is not the place for you, but she is not allowed in the bedrooms so anyone with minor allergies will do fine.
Pricing ia an additional $25 per guest after the first 2 guests.
Reservations made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a $15 fee for singles and couples, and a $40 fee for larger groups.
Street parking is available. If you're coming via public transportation and you're the type to get lost, we can meet you at the station.
We provide linens, soap, shampoo, etc. You will have access to a full kitchen with microwave/toaster, as well as a washer/ dryer for laundry.
We do ask for people to have complete profiles with real pics and personal information. This being our home, we like to know who is asking to stay.
Check in is after 3pm but we are flexible, and will work with you on time (earlier is sometimes possible, later is definitely fine.), and check out is at 12pm.
Write us soon, we'd love to have you as our guest!
We are LGBT friendly!
Thank you, and see you soon, Sebastien & Sari
Shared Sari’s home as a group of 4 and had a wonderful experience. Sari was very accommodating from the very beginning. We had a change of situation right before our trip and without any difficulty we were able to have a lovely, albeit short, stay in her lovely home. It was easy to get to from the touristy locations downtown by subway and finding parking was equally drama free. The home itself was eclectic and cozy. The heating was perfect and made coming indoors welcoming without being stifled by heat. The rooms were comfy and clean. Actually it was by far the cleanest experience I have had thus far in my Airbnb adventures. Even despite having a foster dog and cat in the home, the house was clean and free of animal odors. Such a feat deserves major props and if that wasn’t enough, all the animals were very, very well behaved.
Although some may think sharing a home with hosts lacks the privacy perk of having an entire apartment to one’s self, I enjoyed sharing the space with Sari and her family and would gladly stay here again. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!
Sari and Sebastian were awesome hosts. Booked a last minute reservation the day of when we needed a place to stay and they were more than accommodating. A lovely home with a great, cozy feel to it. The floor was perfect for what we required. Fishtown is also a great area for those looking to explore some quality restaurants, bars, and local shops.
I definitely recommend Sari and Sebastian to all those looking for lodging in Philadelphia! Good company!
The group of four of us only stayed at Sari and Sebastien's one night, but could not speak more highly of the experience. The second floor was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Fishtown, Yards Brewing Co and Philadelphia Brewing Co all on foot. I spoke to Sari on the phone and briefly met Sebastien in the living room, both were very nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again if I go back!
Sari and Sebastian are terrific hosts. They responded quickly to my inquiry and were very helpful in navigating the city. Their home is really comfortable, clean and well located.
Sari and Sebastian have a lovely home, and are such kind people. They were very accommodating.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This was my first time using airbnb (I was in Philly for just one night with several friends), and had a great experience staying with Sari and Sebastian. Their house is lovely and well-decorated, and they were very accommodating and welcoming to us.
Sari and Sebastien were wonderful hosts. They made us very comfortable and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the neighborhood. Their place is also lovely and equipped with a friendly cat! Highly recommended for a peaceful stay (email hidden)ly part of the city.
Our stay in Fishtown was just what we needed. Place was clean, cozy and well maintained. Sari was great to work with to ensure that despite a last minute change everything was ready for us. Both host made sure to give us our privacy but would have been available it needed. Plenty of street parking and places to eat near by.
If in the area would definitively look into renting again.
Sari and Sébastien's house is very comfortable and situated in a colorful neighborhood in Philadelphia. You'll share the house with Ku, the cat who is always entertaining and a really interesting collection of books!
