A great flat in an amazing location!

This Soho location is second to none. Property in Soho gets booked out very quickly. Along with the great location comes the buzz and the vibe of Soho, so if you are looking for a super quiet flat, Soho is perhaps not your cup of tea..:)

Just wanted to reiterate many previous reviews - this is a great location, and Renato was very responsive - he answered messages quickly and fixed problems promptly. When we checked in on Sunday we were told that the clothes washer was discovered to be leaking; Renato had it fixed by the time we came back from our Monday outings. He was also very quick with giving helpful navigation information.
We found both beds were comfortable, and the sofa unfolded to give a third bed to spread out onto. The internet was a little slow - probably due to a lot of people all streaming world cup soccer games at the same time! - but functional. The shower was a little awkward since one needed to hold the shower head with one hand and wash with the other, but this inconvenience was balanced by a *lot* of counter space to spread out toiletries, which came in very handy for us.
Again, as others have said, the apartment is (email hidden)ly part of Soho so there was a lot of noise every night, which quieted down around 1 am. The noise was actually not that bad for us with the windows closed. Being non-smokers, the faint smell of cigarette smoke from the nearby pubs, cafes, etc. permeating through the apartment was a little harder to tolerate. Just like the noise, smoke is an unavoidable feature of Soho so as long as you are aware, you should be fine dealing with it.
Me and my parents stayed at Renato's Apt for 4 nights in June. First my parents (60+) were concerned as the flat is on the 4th floor with no elevator, but they managed it quite well and saw climbing the stairs as some kind of exercise :-) Light sleeper be advised: the living room is facing the street which could get really noisy at the weekend and until very late! Better use the bedroom which is facing the backyard and therefore less noisy.
Besides that, the apt just looks like in the pictures and i must say the location is unbeatable!!! Piccadily Circus, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Oxford Street,... are within walking distance. There's also a Tesco two blocks from the flat.
Communication with Renato couldn't have been easier. I always got prompt answers and he was always willing to help. Check in and out went smoothly too. I'll definitely recommend Renato's flat if you're looking for some lively and central neighborhood.
Very nice flat in a great location! Renato made the booking process very smooth and replied to all my queries straight away. As some people say, a bit noisy, but that's what happens when you are just in the middle of Soho, which was great, as my friends and I were in London just for a night out together, and we could just walk everywhere. Lots of bars and restaurants around to choose from. The apartment is very nice and everything was clean. Great stay and I would definitely come back.
LOCATIONLOCATIONLOCATION! Location cannot be beat, and Renato was very responsive before and upon arrival. Flat is minutes away from all London attractions. A hop away from lively Soho Square, public transportation and grocery. Tons of terrific places to eat, drink, visit and people watch in the neighborhood virtually 24-7. My husband, 11-year old son and I all had a blast! While we were surrounded by some "adult content," it wasn't too much for us, and we never felt out of place.
Fantastic location right in the heart of Soho. Renato was really helpful both before and during our stay. The flat was great and can easily house 4 people. It's a bit noisy at night but that's not surprising in the middle of Soho! I would definitely recommend his place.
You cannot beat the location of this space, but be prepared to accept the noise that comes from being located in the heart of Soho! You are surrounded by nightclubs and bars that stay open very late and the noise is not restricted to the weekends, it is every night. I will say that the back bedroom is much quieter than the front bedroom.
We were a family of three, my husband and I and our teenage daughter. It was very nice having a separate room for our daughter. We chose renting an apt. Over a hotel for this reason and also for the option of having a kitchen. This saved us from having to purchase breakfast every day. We were able to make coffee and prepare toast, etc. before starting our day.
If you have any issues with climbing stairs, this is not the place for you. There are many stairs leading up to the space, which may be difficult for some people, especially if you have lots of luggage.
Renato was a wonderful host and more than accommodating. We had an early flight into London and he made arrangements for us to be able to drop our luggage off early, while the cleaning people were preparing it for the next guest. He was very responsive!
All in all, we had a great stay at this apartment/flat.
Stay was perfect! We arrived early and Renato accommodated this. Perfect location, clean flat - if going to London will without a doubt contact Renato.
Nice flat and perfect location, right in the middle of everything. Three of us were staying there for 3 nights, and it was just so convenient. We did not even use the underground that much, because you can walk almost everywhere from there.
The flat is clean and easy to use: a living room (with a sofa-bed) and a bedroom. A little kitchen in case you need to cook, and a quite large bathroom. Located in an office building, you're almost alone when offices close (except for another flat it seems).
A bit noisy on the street but we expected that so not a big deal anyway!
We had a great time in our apartment, except that is was not the apartment that was advertised here, at least it did not look at all like the pictures, and it was at a different address in Old Compton Road (ours was at #35).I would have preferred to have been informed in advance
Having said that, the place was great, with everything we needed, quick responses, superb location and good value for money. You have to walk some stairs, but that actually creates some distance from the noise
Un appartement très agréable au coeur de Londres. L'appartement est parfaitement situé, bien équipé et fonctionnel. Je le recommande. Merci à Renato pour ta disponibilité.
The apartment was perfect for 4ppl, perfectly located. I recommend this one for those who want to spend some great time in a great neighborhood.
Thank you Renato for you availability.
