We love the hospitality industry. We have hosted others' B&Bs in Southern Utah and Mexico. We're delighted to share our wonderful flower-filled environment with our guests at The Huggery Snuggery Deau at River's Edge. The name tells the story; we are just 25 feet or less from the banks of the Snake River.
BA (before Airbnb) Shannon owned a technical writing consulting business and published two books on technical writing... one that focused on grant writing and the other on technical writing for IT program managers and business analysts. She has managed an art gallery, worked for a communication training firm, served as program administrator for a division of continuing education at a university, owned a high end furniture consignment store, sold radio advertising, and taught grant writing for Utah and Idaho non profits. (Not necessarily in that order). Such is the life of an ADHD woman! (She also frequently rearranges their furniture...much to the chagrin of her OCD husband.)
Now retired, Michael owned an international shipping company that specialized in transporting foreign cars from California to Europe and Asia. He now devotes his energy to building decks and docks on the property and landscaping as well.
We love cats and dogs, so the Huggery Snuggery Deau is pet friendly.
We've hosted people from Cambodia, China, California, Canada, Connecticut, Germany, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Pakistan, Texas, Taiwan, Tasmania, Utah, Washington, and more. What better way to learn about other lifestyles and philosophies than through conversation with such outstanding people!
