Our party was made up of four adults and five kids and we had lots of room and felt very comfortable. The house is really well equipped and cooking was a pleasure. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we enjoyed walks around Lough Eske. Also, all the local people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The kids loved surfing at Rossnowlagh and said that the Old Sawmill had the 'best garden ever'!

Great historic house in close walking distance to Lough Eske hotel and Harvey's point. We travelled with my wife's parents and our toddler and enjoyed our stay. Lots of room to spread out and the location is a great spot for exploring County Donegal. My wife and I had a great dinner at the Lough Eske Hotel while the grandparents watched our son!

This pace is really amazing, the photos don't do it justice, we were very happily surprised...even though we thought it looked great in the photos! We were going to a wedding at Harvey's Point which is 5 mins in the car away, I would recommend this as a great place to stay for the weekend if you are attending a wedding nearby. I mentioned that my mum was elderly and did not like the cold and Joe arranged for the wood burner to be lit we arrived, it was lovely and toasty with a great smell of turf throughout the mill. Would love to come back again when we have more time. Thank you to Joe and Patsy for smashing few nights away with the family. Fantastic place to stay!

The old sawmill is a fantastic cosy place to stay. We had a great holiday in it and would highly recommend it. Great location with lots to do and see nearby and everything you need in the house. Description of it was accurate and joe sent us all the information we needed. Thank you!

Excellent is the only word we can use. Adults and kids loved the Old Mill. Something for everyone. Everything we needed was there and the kids (and adults) loved the walk in the forest beside the house.

Absolutely beautifully restored old sawmill. Comfortably slept 8 of us and the rustic feel to the accommodation added hugely to our holiday. As with some of the nicer Airbnb locations the pictures don't begin to do it justice. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in spending some time in donegal.

I live in Brighton England with my wife and two teenage children . We converted the Sawmill from an old derelict commercial building in 2002 . My family are from the local area and the mill is our much loved second home . We have great fun there ,walking ,surfing, fishing and socializing.
