Interaction with Guests
We will be available for check-in as long as we are not away from the city traveling ourselves. Of course, we're always just a call, text, or email away. If we are out of the city during your stay, we have plenty of friends & family close by if there is something that we can't help you with over the phone.

The North End is the hip, up-and-coming area in the city. With new restaurants, bars, and shops popping up, many Haligonians are making this community their home. Local vibe would be an understatement for this area. You can be sure to find all local brews on tap at the bars, restaurants that use only locally sourced ingredients, and locals with a proud love for their city.
You'll be one block from bus stops for all main routes (including 1, 4, 7, and 9) which you can easily hop on to navigate the city.
Or you can walk:
Grocery Store - 1 min walk (it's literally a rock throw away at the end of the street)
Hydrostone Market - 15 min walk (1.5 km)
Agricola Street - 10 min walk (1 km)
Halifax Common - 10 min walk (1 km)
Spring Garden Road - 20 min walk (2 km)
Downtown - 25 min walk (2.5km)
Halifax Shopping Centre - 20 min walk (2 km)

We stayed for a long weekend at the house, and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable. The wifi worked well, and the kitchen had ample equipment for our needs. We felt very at home.
The neighbourhood is a vibrant residential area of Halifax, with lots of local colour. Good restaurants were only a few minutes walk away, and a large grocery store just at the end of the road. We (three friends) would stay there again if we were to return to Halifax.

Kaylyn and Nick were fast with their responses. The apartment was very nice, very tastefully decorated and very clean. We were very impressed. Location was good, walking distance from a number of good eating places and a supermarket.
We didn't meet Kaylyn and Nick, but they maintained good communication with us throughout by email. The house is lovely and old with a lot of character, and there are many thoughtful touches for guests like refillable bottles from the local brewery and cables to connect your laptop to the TV. The electronic keypad lock made it easy for three people to stay without having to fuss with keys. I only wish that we had more time to enjoy it!
This house is great! Immaculate, beds comfortable, very nice kitchen and bathroom. The hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful with providing information I asked for. I highly recommend this place.
We had no trouble finding their place. The neighborhood was great. In fact the neighbors were very helpful printing out maps for us as we did not have a computer or a phone that worked in Canada. We could walk up the street to a grocery store. We were able to walk from their place into the town. It was nice to leave the car and just get out and walk.
