Beautuful home to experience all the beauty, splendor and fun Santa Barbara has to offer. Casitas Oceano was the perfect home for our two families, very comfortable, clean, and a great ocean view deck for sun worshipping and evening star gazing and relaxing. Great location for proximity to the beach, pier, and downtown. Rory and Leilany were wonderful and easy to work with.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casitas Oceano. Convenient location, nice space, and friendly owner. Highly recommended!
We spend 4 nights at Casitas on Thanksgiving break. The place is not big, but very cozy and neat. I really liked the decor and overall ambience. It is relatively short walk to the ocean which we did once at night. Downtown is within a short drive. Parking is tight, but doable.
Arranging everything with host was super easy.
Amazing Bungalow. I came up here for a week long workcation and this was the perfect spot. Quiet but located close enough to state st to make it convenient, the house was clean, the balcony beautiful, and the stay seamless.
Definitely recommend and don't have any downfalls to speak of!
Great little house!
It's a quite convenient place to stay at Santa Barbara, walking distance to the beach and not far from the down town. I like the balcony that has the beach view. Although a little crowd for 7 of us to stay, but it's a quite good place to stay for 4-5 people group.
Excellent stay. Clean and comfortable place conveniently close (walking distance) to the Beach and boardwalk.
The deck proved to be a popular place for the Boys and I to chill out take in the views and have a cold one.
We will be back!
We had a great place at Rorys. It was clean and comfortable for all 6 of us! And, there was plenty of parking. I highly recommend it!
I stayed at Casitas with a group of friends for a college reunion. Rory was extremely accommodating with our various arrival times and provided excellent advice on local places to see/tour. It was a great time and made our stay fantastic!
This house is in a great location, only 5 mins drive to the main harbour which is the place to be in Santa Barbara. You can't walk anywhere and will need to drive. The apartment is beautiful and has a huge wrap-around balcony to sit out on, if its not foggy! We were lucky and had 3 beautiful days and esp the mornings for breakfast outside. Its really clean and well equipped, it was easy to find the house and we enjoyed staying there. Santa Barbara was an excellent location and I would highly recommend the Condor Express Whale Watching (its expensive budget £90 a head but worth every penny!) one of our best days and we saw hump back whales, dolphins and pelicans. We had some good food on State Street at InterMezze (Tapas for grown ups, don't take the kids) and a terrible Mexican at IL Toro, we only had a starter and very processed, its near the beach so avoid it!! Go to the visitor centre near Stearn Wharf for some recommendations, the wharf is tacky and expensive so don't bother but do spend some time on the beach and the shopping is amazing, with some big names if that's what you are looking for. We got caught out with trying to park in the evenings, spending over an hour on Fri evening before we could find a space, its a busy and popular place. We loved it all and would go back for longer and would stay here again. We spent 3 nights here which was about right, one more would have been perfect to really crash after our hectic itinerary before SB. However, disappointingly we had no contact with the host despite trying lots of ways, so we weren't able to do any washing ( I had assumed a washer/dryer in the house there isn't) and despite leaving messages we didn't manage to contact them we found a local laundrette so we managed but it was a hassle we didn't need. Do your research before you go and use the recommendations from Visitor Centre because we didn't meet the host we had to do leg work that I had hoped to be able to get help with ie local recommendations. Don't stay with young children as there is lots of lovely art on the walls and a wooden floor that naturally the host wants to keep nice, if you have a toddler who likes zooming around with toys it would be a worry but with older children or a group of adults its a great home and the best décor and furnished of all our trip. Good place to crash or use as a base to get out and about around lovely Santa Barbara.
