The apartment was perfect, with an amazing view onto the hills and ocean! It was very clean and comfortable and the building has a pool and is in a great location. Roger was very helpful and check in and check out was easy and no hassle at all. He helped me make my stay as perfect as it could be. Thank you! I will definitely be back next time I am in Hawaii!
The sunrises and views make this place truly spectacular...Some comments about the wind in the unit but I loved opening the windows instead of the air conditioning. The building is older but I found the unit to be comfortable, well decorated and cheery. The pictures you see are pretty much right on. The location is (email hidden)ose to everything and to the main thoroughfares. I was there for pleasure and business so not a big fan of staying in the heart of Waikiki. This was close enough to walk but easy to get out. Cream Pot restaurant on the first floor is great too!
Everything was really great and the host was super helpful and friendly. She was ready to come any moment in case of any trouble. The apartment by the way looks exactly the same as on the pictures. It's nice and clean. The only concern we had was with the sound of the wind (especially at nights) cause it was real loud due to the fact that this place is on the 35th floor, up high and has a panoramic view. We are thankful to Brenda and Hawaii for our great vacation.
Brenda was very nice and accommodating. The view was awesome, absolutely. However, the condo was a big disappointment. It was dirty to start off with, your feet stuck to the floor. We were staying for 6 days and there was not a broom or any cleaning supplies. The a/c never did cool the room. There was a continual loud whistling noise from the windows. Not adequate washcloths and towels. I have had better silverware and dinnerware at some of the fishing cabins I have stayed in.
So...Brenda very nicely moved us to another condo in the same building. No noise from the windows, the a/c worked great, plenty of towels and washcloths, nice silverware and dinnerware. However, the toilet would not fill up and therefore would not flush. Had to manually shut the thingamajig inside the thingamajig2 in order for it to flush. The shower was sooooo filthy. Thank goodness, there were cleaning supplies available. Also after about 15 seconds, the drain in the shower stopped up.
I travel a lot and have never had such problems. So needless to say, I would never stay there again!
Condo was very nice- convenient location, clean. But we did not have a very satisfactory relationship with Brenda. I had emailed her efore we left on our trip and never received an answer. Called her when we first arrived in Honolulu- and she didn't act like she even knew who i was. Gave me several different directions re: how to get the key and get checked in. We went to Kauai for 5 days before returning to Oahu. During that time she became ill apparently- and left a message on my home phone instead of calling my cell. When we returned to Honolulu I called her again . Again she didn't seem to know who I was. Said Roger would meet us with the key. He was very nice and got us settled in. We waited 3 days to get a second key with the promise each day we would get one. Then we were moved to another condo on our last day because they had double booked our condo.
We just felt like we were being treated like second class citizens. We spoke with Roger our last day and gave him our concerns. He was very understanding and promised a one day refund.
So bad smell in unit, key didn't work ,it was problem any time to get in.....
