I had a great stay at Teresa's place. The room was cozy and the double shower head in the bathroom was awesome! Our paths never crossed, and I do wish we could have met in person, but the experience was very warm and welcoming even so. Definitely would stay again!
Teresa was a great host! Her guidebook was very complete with all the information I needed, and the room was exactly as pictured, very clean, and very comfortable.
This was my first Airbnb experience and if all places are like Teresa's I would use it again!
All pertinent information (directions, check-in, etc.) was simple and easy to follow. Teresa was very hospitable. The room -spacious and clean. The bed - super comfortable!
Overall, a simple and great AirBnB experience!
Teresa and Lionel are great hosts! The place is nice and the bedroom is really spacious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.
I had a nice stay at Teresa's place. I actually used the spot only for sleeping and spend most of my time in DC, but the place is capable of much more than just sleeping there. Everything was tidy and clean. Definitely recommendable and I definitely would use the place again for another stay in DC.
Great Host, great travel! Teresa ans her boyfriend are really friendly et openminded. Their Apartement isn't really far away from the nearest subway station (30min).I recommend them !!!!
This is the first time I was hosted by Teresa although it's the second time I made a reservation. Teresa was very understanding when I cancelled the first reservation because of an unexpected change in plans. The apartment is in a good location with access to public transportation. The room was in great condition and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy and Teresa even made sure that I had a copy of her personal guide to the city. It was a great experience and I recommend Teresa's apartment to anyone visiting the area. I hope to book with her again sometime soon,
It's a good first experience in airbnb to live in Teresa's home. The room is big and clean, the environment is quiet and safe, and the transportation is not difficult. I recommend others live here if you want to visit DC.
I loved bragging to my SIETAR conference buddies that I stayed in a real neighborhood. In a real condo. While they were forced to tolerate the soullessness of another big box hotel. I love that I was minutes from Georgetown. That I could hop on any public transportation I wanted including the bus, Metro, Uber (everyone’s private driver), or Halo taxi, and voila I’m there!
The space was exactly as Theresa described it. Bright and airy. Private, secure, clean and convenient. My room was perfectly quiet and roomy. I had plenty of closet space and drawers. A desk and internet access. The bathroom was spotless with a powerful hot shower, which made me very happy.
The finest qualities lie in my hosts. Both Theresa and her boyfriend embodied the best of both worlds: In my experiences, they displayed the kind of hospitality, generosity, and kindness I expect from my hosts as I travel the world, yet manage to temper it for the American sensitivity toward “my need for some space”.
We had different schedules, so it felt like I had the whole place to myself. While I approached the rest of the space with respect, nothing was off limits. I had full access to the fridge and a wide screen TV. Whatever I wanted.
I chose Theresa’s space not only because it looked good, and because of the highly rated reviews, but because she was a traveler. And that told me she had the kind of rich experiences I could connect with. We “got” each other and it was the right choice.
To my hosts: Bravo!
This was a really good experience with welcoming and tactful hosts, plenty of space in the apartment and the room and decent privacy. Teresa and her boyfriend were helpful to tell us about local commute options and even provided a lift to downtown, thanks for that. Commutes to DC downtown are not that lengthy if you know how to get quickly to metro station by bus; walking to metro is about 20 mins. Apartment was clean and cozy, so we recommend to stay at Teresa’s place!
