Interaction with Guests
We are here to help, or will leave you to it - as you wish!
Clontarf is a well-known Dublin Bay village and is near the City Centre and Dublin Airport, as well as Eastpoint and the IFSC. We love the friendly vibe of our "Village in the City" as it is known, and especially love all there is to offer here for foodies and walkers alike! There are numerous restaurants and cafes, as well as golf, the beach, a nature reserve and the old Guinness family demesne, St Anne's Park. Anyone visiting us will not only feel welcome in our home, but will find that there is so much to do in Clontarf, before you take the bus (at the end of the road) to the City, Trinity, etc. as well as the famous and historic fishing villages of Howth or Malahide - our guests don't have to go far to find beautiful places to see!
The bus to the City Centre is at the end of our road, while parking is off-street in our driveway; we will collect and drop to the airport in evenings or any time at the weekend (€20), or otherwise, a taxi will take c. 20 minutes. There is also a bus direct from the airport, non-stop to the City Centre, where guests can then take the 130 bus to us! The 130 takes c. 20 mins from the City Centre to the end of our road. We are also close to Eastpoint and the IFSC, which is ideal for business travellers.

That you respect our home, our neighbours and you are quiet. The living room and kitchen are available for breakfast and then again in the evenings, after 20:00.
Looking forward to meeting you.
I stayed 4 nights at Leigh-Ann's place and it was awesome. A very lovely and helpful family. Thanks again for your hospitality. I really enjoyed my stay
We really enjoyd our time there. Thanks.
I absolutely LOVED staying with Leigh-Ann and her husband, as so did my friend ! We had an amazing time with them, as they're funny, charming, and really really nice ! We felt really comfortable with them, and wished we could have stayed more !
The room is lovely, and the bed very comfortable, we slept like logs :D
Their home is situated in a very pleasant area of Dublin, if you fancy walking along the beach that's a great place ! There's a bus literally every 10 minutes to the city center, so we had no difficulty getting there.
Basically, we will definitely come back !
We (couple from Holland) slept at this Airbnb for three nights. Very good double bed, bathroom ensuite (towels incl.) and a livingroom with television. We also could use the kitchen. There was a basket with bread, muesli, coffee/ tea. Milk and jam was found in the refrigerator. Leigh-Ann helped us to find our way through Dublin and beyond. Her recomendation of a lunch in a Victorian house was a fantastic place! Go there if you have time (New Grange). Leigh-Ann and her husband made us feel very welcome in their house. We recomend it highly!
I admit being nervous about AirBnB, but since I'd heard such rave reviews from friends I thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did, because my first experience was great! Leigh-Ann responded very quickly to the reservation request and David was kind enough to pick me up from the airport. Both made me feel as if I was staying with old friends. The property was spotless, comfortable, and warm, and easily accessible by bus from the city centre. They even provided me with a breakfast basket and all sorts of useful information about Dublin. I was very sad about leaving at the end of my stay, so I hope to return very soon! Thamk you both for a great 1st AirBnB experience and introduction to Dublin!
About the Host, Leigh-Ann
My husband, little girl and I love good, healthy food, plenty of fresh air and travelling. We love meeting new people and have always had good feedback from those who have enjoyed a stay in our home. Reading, jogging and music also feature in our lives, as well as seeing our friends and family on a regular basis. As the Promenade and the beach are literally at the end of our road, we spend a lot of time walking there, as well as in St Anne's Park, also local to us. With the excellent restaurants and cafes of Clontarf on our doorstep, the things we love most doing are there for the taking - so, please come and join us!
Award winning rose gardens and beautiful grounds to enjoy a coffee or just stroll around taking in the fresh air.
