What a beautiful home! The pictures don't do justice to this place - tasteful decor, lovely hosts, super comfortable bed in a great neighbourhood. Just a few steps from a bus stop, and a walking distance from the Battersea Park this place is in the perfect location wether you're looking for a calm place to relax or a buzzling London experience. The place was spotless clean and everything went as smoothly as one could wish for. I HIGHLY recommend! Thanks Sally! Xx
Had a great time staying at Mathias and Sally's place! Only met Sally during my time there, she was a very gracious host (breakfast was a very nice bonus :)!). Apartment is nice and clean (also liked the room I stayed in) and perfectly located. Close to public transportation (you will be able to get to the city center in minutes), various stores and a lovely park. Recommended!
The apartment itself is really nice.
The location is not ideal since there's no subway station nearby. Using buses and the train is OK if you're not in a hurry.
Please also note the flat is in the third floor with no elevator.
The overall experience was fine, I enjoyed staying in the apartment very much
Sally was very welcoming and although she and Matthias weren't going to be there for our stay, she provided food for breakfast which was terrific. The location is fabulous, close to supermarkets, train and bus stops with easy access to London centre. The 3 flights of stairs kept us in shape. Only drawback was the noisy floorboards which meant it was difficult to walk around quietly during the night. Would highly recommend this place.
