The apartment is located in the heart of the ancient Rome, in front of Romani Forum. It is located a stone's throw from the Colosseum, Circo Massimo and p.zza Venezia, and it is a few minutes walking from the characteristic of “Trastevere”, the ancient Jewish district where you can enjoy a lot of good restaurant, pastry and bakery kosher . In this area you can find a nice and confortable SPA "Alma Mater" where you can enjoy any kind of massage and a typical turkish bath. At the end of the street there is one of the most famous farmer market of Rome, each week end you can go shopping with fresh produce and good prices directly from producers to consumers.
and right there, you can test your honesty by visiting and interviewing the mouth of truth! Every the maine attraction of the ancient Rome are very close to. Towels and sheets are furnished and included in the price as well the cleaning one time per week.
is the perfect place for visiting Rome alone, with family or friends.

  • First off: the location of Luca's apartment is superb! Every interesting tourist location, Via Corso shopping street, EATALY market, lovely Trastevere and public transportation spots are in walking distance. Pre-purchased ROME pass turned out unused due to the great location.

Luca is a great and reliable host, who is there for you in case of any inquiries. He has maps of the city in the apartment for those who need them, a folder of recommended restaurants and other places of interest, and a lovely friend offering transportation service costing less than the taxis in case you need eg. transportation to or from the airports. Luca also has a locked cellar room for luggage storage in case you need to place your bags somewhere after checkout. The air conditioner in the apartment was a great addition during +31 celcius temperature.

This was our first experience with airbnb hosting, and based on the great experience offered by Luca, we are sure to use airbnb in the future as well!

  • Luca was really polite and always willing to answer any questions i could have, he even let me drop my baggage after i did the 'check out' from his apartement so i can enjoy my last day in Rome without heavy backpacks.

The place is small, but has everything you need to spend an awesome weekend on this beautiful city!. You can find Piazza Venezia at 10 minutes walking and the Colisseum on 15 minutes, so is pretty well situated. The only 'inconvinience' maybe could be the shower boiler took 30 to 45 minutes to boil again fot the next person to have a shower, but with a little organization is easy and I can't complain about it!

I would stay again there if i had the chance, it was a really positive experience!

  • The flat is exactly as described by the host. In addition, there is a quite convenient folder with restaurants' recommendations. We were amazed at how clean the apartment was!

    Fabulous location!

  • The apartment was exactly like the photos... it was very "cozy" with very little room to spare but met our needs as a place to sleep, shower and regroup.
The apartment does list washer and dryer under the amenities page.. but there is only a washer and a foldable drying stand... no dryer.
The location was good and we were able to walk to all the major sites. We had a little trouble finding the apartment when we first arrived due to the chaos that is the Rome bus network... but after that we just decided to walk everywhere... which worked out fine.

  • The studio is in a lovely location. It is very quiet and non touristy.
It is as described on the website - very compact . It is well equipped, very clean and in good repair.
However the bed is on a mezzanine which is only just a bit bigger than the bed. There is a low rail along the edge and this is potentially dangerous especially in the dark. The stairs leading up to the mezzanine are very steep with a shallow tread and again quite dangerous especially when coming down. The danger is greatest if you sleep on the far side of the bed and need to go down to the toilet in the darkness in the middle of the night.
There is no room for clothes on the mezzanine so they have to be kept downstairs . There is a wardrobe with only four hangers. You therefore have to keep your clothes on the table or on the sofabed. This means you have nowhere to sit or cant use the table.
We never saw Luca but both his parents were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries that we had.

  • Luca was good with communicating with me when before I arrived in Rome. When we got there, we were introduced to the apartment. It's conveniently right beside the main entrance so we didn't have to go too far.

The apartment looked as advertised and was clean. There were four of us so it felt a little cramped when we expanded the couch bed on the first floor. We had to move the table and chairs so we could move around. However, we only needed a place to shower and sleep, so no complaints.

Luca has convenient typed out important information and framed them around the apartment (like what the wifi password was and phone numbers for cabs to the airport), which I thought was a very nice touch. There were also power adapters for North American plugs which I thought was very nice.

I would recommend staying here if you don't mind a smaller place. I would go back again with my friends!

  • We never met Luca but were met by his girlfriend. The studio apartment was very clean and as described. It was also very convenient to most places of interest we wished to visit.
