OH very important 'house rule'! ENJOY YOUR STAY!' Smiles A.C.
Ann was very friendly and made us feel right at home.Greeted us with a bottle of wine. We all three sat and had a glass of wine and felt very comfortable with Ann.
The room was very comfortable, bed great, we slept very well. The kitchen was fully stocked for breakfast and you could even have bacon, eggs and sausage if you wanted (we did not.) We enjoyed our fresh fruit, toast, jam and yogurt. The fridge in our room was stocked with beer, water and wine, all for the taking, and a basket of goodies to snack on, way more that we expected.
Ann was extremely kind and helpful - an absolute wonderful host! I stayed at her place for my half marathon in Ventura and she was really supportive - in terms of my needs and preparing for the race, and making sure I have a comfortable and relaxing time while I was there. She was with me at the starting line, and was there when I finished. I really appreciated her for doing that, because she didn't have to, but she did! And I thought that was so kind of her.
Not only is she an amazing host, her place is also equally amazing! It's clean, it's beautiful, conveniently located, and has all the basic essentials! The bed and linens were very high quality. Plus, the private entry and personal bathroom was a nice bonus. And I thought the whole snack jar thing was super thoughtful and adorable! Everything was absolutely beyond expectations. I would absolutely recommend her house to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Ventura!
Ann is a definitely deserves an oscar for "best superhost". Unfortunately we stayed just for one night because we were on a road trip through California, but this one night was very amazing. Ann welcomed us very warmly at our arrival and showed us our room, kitchen and a lot of features. Drinks, Snacks, filled fridge, jacuzzi and a lot of other features ensured a highly feelgood factor.
This was our first time to use Airbnb and Ann made us so glad we did! It was a long trip for pregnant me but Ann was very flexible and accommodating. We arrived later than we expected and yet she was there to make sure we had everything we need and more. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the toiletries a traveler needs and might sometimes forget like tooth brushes and shaving cream! Her kitchen was clean and modern and well stocked for late night andearly morning snackies. Ann is very sweet and was to me the perfect host. We'll be sure to drop by her place the next time we are in the area!
I don't have time to describe all the ways in which Ann was an excellent host, so here are just some highlights.
As advertised, the bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a mini-fridge in the bedroom stocked with water, beer, and other beverages. On top of it was a basket full of snacks. All very welcome, as we had cycled from Santa Barbara. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Ann offered us full use of the kitchen and backyard. We grilled out, making hamburgers (from premium ground beef she bought for us) and vegetables. Afterwards, a soak in the jacuzzi was also very welcome. The next morning, the fridge was plentifully stocked for a full breakfast.
In summary, Ann really goes the extra mile for her guests. She really made us feel at home -- categorically better than the transient feeling one associates with even the best hotels. And since it was Valentine's Day, she went even further to create a setting where we could have a memorable night. Which is the true spirit of that holiday: the care and attention one gives to others (moreso than what one receives).
We would definitely recommend Ann as a host, and would look her up the next time we happen to be passing through Ventura on our bikes.
An outstanding experience. Ann truly went above and beyond for us. The suite was quiet, spacious, spotless, and stocked with drinks (including beer!) and snacks. We had our own TV with access to Netflix. The bathroom had fluffy towels and all amenities. We were able to make our own breakfast and coffee in the morning using her fully stocked kitchen, which was great as we were on a cycling tour.
Even with all that, the best part was how friendly and kind Ann is. She took every opportunity to make our stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. We're so glad we stayed here and would return!
Wonderful stay. Set up like a one-room luxury hotel with access to everything we needed and then some. Ann was super friendly and welcoming, made us feel like old friends visiting. Room and house were extra clean and we had full run of the kitchen. Would absolutely stay here again next time we're in town. 5 stars!
