The Courts, of LaFrance apartments are the oldest apartment buildings in Salt Lake City. Constructed in the early 1900’s, they were used to house almost exclusively Railroad company employees. Worn in with decades of charm and grit, this rugged, storied, unique, & original apartment showcases aspects of the city that has been aptly called the “Crossroads of the West” which boasts over a century of rich history. LaFrance is right in the mix of rugged, adventurous, & historic, downtown SLC!

The space
Keep in mind, the building is over 110 years old, and many of the fixtures are quite old, and the tile and wood shows common signs of an aging building. If such wear and character make you anxious, I would recommend one of the new hotels nearby. The place has flaws, but makes up for it in functionality. The space is also used as a gallery, meeting place, guest space, bicycle enthusiasts start point, and home office.

Guest access
The entirety of the apartment can be used. I use the basement for storage of art materials, and other odds and ends. With the availability of a wide array of dining and takeout options nearby, combined with the limited sink space, and usefulness, I have chosen not to provide cookware. There are disposable cups, plates and utensils for guests refreshment needs.

Other things to note
I will be available via text or call for anything serious, or for inquiries about paintings available for sale.

Salt Lake City native, Emerging, and struggling artist. I Enjoy playing cards, and music. Recently, I have become very engrossed in art, and different approaches to acrylic pouring. I plan on using the Airbnb as a small gallery, in order to make room for more paintings in my studio.
