Interaction with Guests
We are delighted to welcome you. We will be at the address at the agreed time between yourself and ourselves. We like offering flexibility in check- in time when it is possible, early check- out is always possible, just leave the key of the apartment and the electricity money on the kitchen counter, close behind you and that it, that is your check- out done... Very simple , straightforward at anytime you choose until 12 noon
The apartment is well located in Dublin 1, 10 minutes walk to o'connell street and from the apartment you can enjoy all Dublin city center on foot, saving yourself lots of time and costs. The apartment is also only 5 minutes walking distance to the airport bus stop, it takes about 20 minutes on the bus to go to the airport.
Please take bus n16 at the airport and ask the bus driver to stop you at the ulster bank on Dorset street, from there, go on north circular road, direction of Croke park( stadium) and it is a 5 minutes walk from the bus stop to the apartment.
the apt is very small and not that much furnished but very near the city center (15 min walking). Alex and his wife are very very kind and helpful!!!
We had a lovely weekend in this apartment. It was perfect for three people. We all fit comfortably together and were able to use the kitchen for some light cooking which helped saved some money to put towards tourist attractions. Alex and Ada were very friendly and welcoming. Ada gave us a comprehensive map and many suggestions for things to do in the area. The apartment was close to the city center; we could walk during the day and just took taxis back in the evening but from the city center is was not too expensive. The apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location! Thank you Alex and Ada!
Thank you so very much for staying with us. We treacly enjoyed meeting you. You were so sweet and so easy to communicate with. It was a real pleasure having you:):):)
We are delighted that you enjoyed our recommendations and that you had a great time in Dublin together and at the apartment.
You are very welcome anytime,
Alex and Ad
Nathalie welcomed us in the appartment and she explained to us how everything worked (the kitchen, the electricity...) She was very nice to us and she was helpful giving us information about the city (restaurants, pubs, transport). The appartment has everything we need for our visit.
Thank you :)
It was very nice welcoming you and your partner. You were very friendly and very easy to communicate with. Thank you so very much for your feedback too. We are delighted to hear that you have had a lovely time in Dublin and at the apartment.
Thank you very much for staying with us,
You are very welcome anytime, warmest Regards,
We (two of us) were upgraded upon arrival to a slightly larger apartment than this one, but I understand that they are similar but for a bit extra space. It was a good apartment with everything we needed and allowed us to cook meals which saved on eating out. It was a great location by being only a ten minute walk to the centre, although the neighbourhood isn't necessarily one you would want to explore- not that this bothered us. You pay for the electricity you use which was another good way to save money. All in all a great place to stay at a good price for a central location- great for us who walked everywhere! I would stay again, and Alex and Natalie were really friendly and very helpful for us who have never been to Dublin before and found the inside info helpful. Thanks!
Alex and Nathalie were so nice and gave us a map tour of Dublin which was very helpful to get our barrings on the city. The location is close to local buses which we used liberally to get around the city to save our feet from walking. The prepay utility meter was a little concerning since we didn't know what it would equate to. For 3 days we ended up spending a little over 6 euros on electricity. My guess is that most of it went to heating since it was pretty cold, especially in the bedroom. Luckily, the beds are very warm!
Thanks very much Webly for your stay with us. We enjoyed meeting you. The electricity meter displays the cost in euros 24 hours and the price charged is cost price and our guests only pay for what they use so there is a total transparency on it. Electricity in ireland is more expensive that some other part of the world as ireland does not have nuclear energy. As we noticed that most of our guests are busy touring dublin, it is better for everyone to decide on their own costs as supposed to put a fix cost with the rental. The winter months is very short and in spring and summer and the autumn the cost of electricity is very small.
Thank you so much for staying with us and we are delighted that you have had a great time in Dublin.
You are very welcome anytime,
Alex and Ada
Thanks so much for staying with us at the apartment. It is true that the apartment is best for 2 guests however if some guests are on a tight budget and don't mind sharing the space to sleep 3 or 4 guests, we like to make it possible for them and think that it is very good to offer this possibility too. Very often, our guests are just looking for somewhere to sleep and spend no time in the apartment, they are busy touring dublin and its surroundings, renting a cheaper place means that our guests get value for money and can keep the money saved on rental for exploring dublin.
Thanks so much for your feedback.
Alex and Nathalie were so nice! Nathalie waited for us in the apartment and welcomed us very kindly. She also showed us all the important places to visit on a map and told us about her favourite restaurants in the city centre. Everything worked really well and we were free to plan our check-in and check-out time.
The apartment is a small, nice apartment which was just perfect for us (but we spent most of the time in the city centre to see as much as possible from Dublin). It is well located, it's just a 15minutes walk to O'Connell Street :)
So we would absolutely (!!!) recommend this nice apartment to everyone who's looking for a good and reasonable apartment to stay which is not too far away from the city centre!!
We would absolutely book this apartment again with its lovely hosts :)
Just had a great time in Dublin!
Hi Jenny and Philipp,
How are you? Thank you very much for staying with us and for your feedback. You were equally fantastic hosts:):):). we are very grateful with our guests bookings and everyone is special and important to us, not one day is the same. We want to make sure that our Guests have the "local knowledge" of Dublin city as if they had been there themselves for many years and that is the difference with travelling with airbnb as opposed to checking in a hotel where they sometime don't care about you so much. That was my experience when I arrived at the hotel in Zurich and they made us wait 45 minutes because the receptionist said that he hotel was already booked and we were trying to tell him that we had booked the last room and we had proof of it on our mobile device but he did not seem to care and we would not have minded waiting nearly an hour standing up only that we had to be going to a business meeting. I was shocked at the coldness of the receptionist and clearly if we welcomed airbnb guests that way we are sure we would get nobody anymore. Plus without mentioning all the extras, a lovely smile and a true interest in meeting people completely transform someone experience in travelling. So we believe:):):)
Thank you very much for everything Jenny and Philipp, we were very sweet and we are so delighted that you have had a great time in Dublin and in the apartment.
You are always welcome back,
Alex and Nathalie

We do our very best to make sure that you enjoy your stay with us and in Dublin. We are very happy to advise you on off the beaten tracks things to do in Dublin. We will accompany you a little to show you where to go from the apartment to the heart of the city center on foot. We will give you maps, circle the places on it where we thing it is worth visiting....We privilege communication on both side. We will always be very happy to take your luggage early if you wish. we are offering easy check-out where you can check yourself out very easily by just leaving the key of your apartment on the kitchen counter along with the electricity money and just close the door of the apartment behind you as the door locks by itself so very early check- out is very easy and always possible. Should you have a late flight and enjoy Dublin to the very hand, we are very happy to offer to you to leave your luggage in the hallway.
We are very easy going and patient.
