About this listing
We are committed to offering great value, so if you read this listing and is not convinced it is great value at the end, please make us an offer and we will consider it.
Cool apartment in one of the best neighbourhoods of Sao Paulo, Itaim Bibi. Very close to Clube Pinheiros, Hebraica and Shopping Iguatemi. Well connected by buses, cabs on the door step, and parking available inside the building if you have a car.
This apartment is currently the studio of an artist, so it has a cool, laid back feel to it. It has a bathroom, a shower room, and a separate sink/toilet, so you will most likely not have to share.
The apartment has three bedrooms of different sizes, all of them fitting double size beds. The bedroom featured in this listing is a double room facing the front of the building. We have also a large double room facing the back, and a single room facing the front (large enough for two people) listed separately. All rooms have plenty of storage, and the lighting is a special feature, set up by the artist who works here.
There is also a great office space, if you are coming to Sao Paulo to work or study.
Nobody lives here, except me, the owner. My girlfriend is occasionally here too. I travels a lot given that I have a second home in London, UK, so you are most likely going to have privacy and be on your own unless we have other guests.
The keys will be left either in the reception of the building or with the painter who works here. He's got the most fabulous sense of humour you will be glad you met him.
The building is safe with 24 hours reception and it has a nice view of Faria Lima Avenue, one of the main avenues in town. Sao Paulo's night life is booming and you will be a walking distance from some of the best bars and restaurants in town.
Host have had wonderful experiences through AirBnB so far, but thought it was worth highlighting, just in case:

> Our insurance policy does not cover guests belongings.
> Cleaning fees are included.
> We care for the environment and appreciate good use of the resources. Electricity must be left on only when in use. Spending in excess of the usual will be charged separately.
> Doors of the apartment must be left locked at all times.
> Windows of the apartment must be closed when leaving the building.
> Cleaner is responsible for beddings and towels. Guests who would like her to take care of their personal clothing can request this from her and and pay her an additional of 200 reais month.
> Guests are not authorised to use the buildings car park, in no circumstance, not even for one minute.
> Guests are not allowed to smoke within the building. Smokers are suggested to discretely use the area near the reception, and if so, leave it clean of ashes and cigarettes always using the bins provided, or go for a walk around the block.
> Guests are not authorised to bring anyone into the building without express authorisation in writing from the host.
> Disrespect of these rules may imply on the no devolution of your deposit.
We apologise for the strictness of these rules but the building management isn't tolerant and was excessive with complaints when these rules were disrespected in the past therefore we must comply with them in all cases.
It may not look like after reading all this, but the host is pretty flexible and open minded, any question just ask.
I have many passions but career wise most of my path has been in the art world. I love the business side of the arts and I like it internationally. I worked for an arts magazine in Paris, had a gallery in Mayfair (London) and now am the founding partner of an art consultancy business in Sao Paulo. I also travel regularly to fairs and biennials around the world.
As a host, Airbnb allows me welcome people from all over the world which keeps me connected to different beautiful realities. I make new friends, have company, make work contacts, hear different opinions, and get the opportunity to show aspects of Sao Paulo to visitors who would perhaps not discover it otherwise.
As a guest, Airbnb is an opportunity to connect to locals and learn how to get around faster, feel part of the culture, experience different types of comfort, hospitality, architecture and interior design, and of course get a better deal than I would in a hotel.
I speak English, French and Portuguese and enjoy this site a lot. Hopefully my reviews, references, photos and videos will give you a good impression of who I am.
