Our stay at Federicas attic was great. Simply great. The attic itself was spacious for 2 adults and 1 child and we loved the view over San Peter and much of Rome.
On the downside, the pipes from the toilet and sinks were at bit clogged (Roman pipes could be the culpret) and it was a bit troublesome. When we contacted Federica about the problem she resolve the issue in a matter of hours.
Federica is a very friendly host and I recommend you to have a stay in her attic. You won't regret it.
Just spent a week in Federica`s place and we were really sorry to leave. The apartment is exactly as described. The location is perfect ( close to metro, supermarket ). Very quiet residential area. There is a great gelateria at the end of the street . ( Open `til 2AM ) The view from the bedroom gives you the impression that you are in a forest and not 10 minutes on foot from downtown Rome. The terrace / balcony is great for breakfast and even better at night after a day of sightseeing , watching the lights come on over Rome with a glass of wine. Federica and Marc were gracious hosts and were available at all times.
Thanks to both of you. Hope to stay here again.
We spent 10 fantastic days in Rome. The apartment was amazing. Federica's apartment increased our good impressions. It was very convenient to rich any historical part of the city and the railway station. The apartment is near from restaurants, cafés, bar, shopping’s area, so it took 10-15 minutes to get anywhere.
It was very clean and full of light. From each room it was beautiful view (even from bathroom:). It was very nice to get up in the morning in a room filled with sunlight and birdsongs. We enjoyed fascinating view of St.Peter's Basilica. It made our holiday more memorable. It was great to spend the minutes of rest between our walking sightseeing tours on the terrace: eating cheese and drinking wine.
Federica has very good taste in decoration, music and films. There were good collections of films in English and music, so it made so special atmosphere in the evening when we was so tired and could not walk anywhere.
Federica is very nice , friendly girl. She advised us some good restaurants and good places to visit. We will come back in his apartment anyway.
The apartment's most outstanding feature is its large terrace with a view of St. Peter's dome, equipped for relaxation, outdoor cooking, even entertaining. The kitchen is open to the terrace and has large windows, as does the living room. It is quite a remarkable place, and in addition to its proximity to the Vatican, it's easy to access the Metro and buses. Federica is very gracious. We had a terrific stay.
Great place to stay! Very clean and organized. Federica was very nice and helpful. Great location ,
Federica was great. Very nice apt. Good location: 5-6 minutes to the metro. 10 minutes walking to the Vatican...One problem: short shower - about 4 minutes maximum and you have to wait 30 minutes to the next shower. Everything else was just great. Federica is very nice, let us leave the apt. at 15;00, called a texi for us...Thank you Federica. Ami, Etty and Tom.
Perfect apartment, perfect location, and very nice host. Federica's apartment has all you will need to make your stay in Rome a memorable one. Sitting on the large terrace drinking a glass of wine and watching all of Rome celebrate New Years was a real treat! Thank you Federica, I will definately be back.
Federica is a delightful host. She went out of her way to be helpful to us, which is really comforting when you're traveling in a foreign country. Her apartment is also very comfortable and warm. It felt like home to us while we were there, even when it began to rain. Her apartment is a fantastic deal and we couldn't have been happier.
My spouse and I stayed in Federica's beautiful apartment June for a little over a month this summer, and it was absolutely delightful. We wanted a place that was convenient to public transportation, but also a real home in a place that felt like a real Roman neighborhood away from all the tourists. The apartment is spacious, clean, and with all the amenities you could desire, plus a spectacular terrace and view--all the photos here are accurate, but the apartment is even better than the photos! Federica was a great host, and very responsive to the few minor problems or questions that came up during our stay.
The apartment is just a 4-5 minute walk from the Cipro metro stop (and the metro takes about 15-20 min to get to Termini), 4 minutes from a good grocery store, and about 7-8 minutes from a huge, amazing public market, the Mercato Trionfale (definitely go to this!). There's also a 24-hour pharmacy, Essere Benessere, on Circonvallazione Trionfale. I also recommend getting to know the Roman bus system, which is a great way to see the city. Bus 23 will take you from Via Leone down along the river to Trastevere (catch the return bus on the opposite side of the river), and bus 492 goes from behind the Cipro metro stop to Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, and most of the central city sights that are less well-served by the metro.
I had stayed for 4 nights at the Federica's place. The place is cosy and well-equipped. There are many place to get food around the apartment. There is a supermarket nearby (Carrefour) and its near the Metro. The apartment have a beautiful view at all times. My favorite place is the terrace where my friends and I had our meals and chill out. Great place to stay.
