Me and my girlfriend were very well received by Ronan!!! The Cottage is nice, cozy and well equipped! Ronan gave us bread, butter, jelly (that he made) and helped us with the tourism of the Galway's Coast. He also invited us for a dinner with his friends, was amazing! We had so much fun that we want to come back soon!!!
Ronan is a very friendly host! We arrived when it was already dark and we had problems looking for the apartment. Thankfully there was a funeral at the church and there were many cars if not we would probably missed out that church as well. When we arrived, Ronan was outside chopping some firewood and lighting up the fireplace for us. It was cosy and warm when we arrived and it was great because we were out all day in the wet and cold.
The cottage is quaint and the house looks like it was being built by Ronan himself. We were the only tenants that night and we had the whole big space to ourselves!
We tried to catch up with doing our laundry and Ronan very kindly taught us how to use the washing machine and the dryer.
Ronan even offered us food and asked us if we would like to go over to his house next door for his home-made wine. However, we had to decline his invitation as we just had dinner and drinks and were really tired after a full-day of driving around.
The hot shower was good, but we faced problems with the heating in the house. It was really cold and late and I think Ronan was asleep by then, so we can't get help. Thankfully the blankets were able to keep us warm enough.
The cottage is located at a good spot where you can drive to visit the Burren and Cliffs of Moher easily.
We rented this lovely cosy place for Christmas and upon arrival we could feel the Christmas spirit. Ronan decorated the house nicely and we felt immediately at home.
Go with an open mind and you will have an amazing experience. Warm and cosy and Ronan is helpful and friendly. We experienced Ronan's hospitality with his homemade wine and music session with a friend. A memory we will always have.
Fantastic place, great host, everything was perfect! Thanks so much Ronan!
Ronans cottage was a really nice experience. The house was really cosy with a great atmosphere around the whole place and having a chimney fire was really good, house held its temperature and stayed warm as we were there late November. The lack of an oven was the only thing that could of been better, but really a minor minor issue. Ronan himself was brilliant he was very welcoming and informative about the surrounding attractions, healso organised some bikes for us to go around and see them, and organised wood fired pizzas as well. All in all it was a great experience highly recommend it.

Hey ,I'm Ronan .I am a creative and energetic person. I am all accepting of other peoples beliefs and quirks! This is my third year as an Airbnb host.
So ... My interest in architecture has lead me to travel to places like Greece , Italy and Egypt . This education has inspired much of the garden art, which can be seen at my place. I enjoy wine at the end of the day and I like to cook. I believe in looking at the bright side of life and remaining positive. My dream is finally realized to be able to spend most of my time at home to create a unique living environment. To be totally honest ... I must be a bit crazy... I have all these creative projects that I must complete, .well.... I have designed and built my home to be a peaceful yet imaginative place. I live in another beautiful home which I am building next door. My aim is to give all my visiting guests as much space and privacy as they need .
My " Cottage" listing is a private apartment with on large bedroom with a double and two single beds . Also someone could sleep on the couch downstairs .
My "Guest House" listing is another private apartment and includes 2 twin rooms ( double and single beds ) but if needed /or available, can join up to the Cottage via a corridor and then a third bedroom is accessible.
So...... understand .... I have 2 listings at the moment but it is all the one property , each part being completely private.
Another bedroom with bathroom is available in the gatehouse in the courtyard .
I have a laundry room with washer and drier.
