Apartment with 3 private bedrooms , located between Vatican city zone and "Villa Borghese", the green heart of the city, easy to get into the heart of Rome but still quiet enough and not too 'touristy'. Navona square walking distance.
Here in Rome you will enjoy your days living in my vacation apartment , located in the "Prati" neighborhood , one of the beautiful , safe and elegant neighborhoods in Rome.
The building is on one of the streets included in the Rome Marathon route, " Via Giuseppe Ferrari " , in one of the elegant buildings of the early XX century that characterize the area around the Vatican after the unification of the Kingdom of Italy, with the conquest of Rome by Garibaldi and the subsequent creation of the state of the Vatican.
Anyway, apart this little historic info, and all the historical spots that you have around just walking distance, going again to the apartment that you are going to use like your home in Rome cause I do not live inside the apartment, let me describe you something about its interior.
The apartment have a surface of 74 mq with three separate bedrooms, inside a courtyard, so it is on the ground floor and it is a space very convenient for families and groups of friends, but also for couples it is possible to stay in the flat.
Considering the characteristics of my home and from my experience as a traveler, I can give you some tip to understand the convenience to arrive in my flat : no problems with heavy luggage climbing stairs, no only in the building, cause the apartment is in a courtyard, but also in the district, a valley without hills like in other areas of Rome. Being in the courtyard you will have a high level of privacy with no other flats over the ceiling , or attached at your walls, something that using to live in different apartments I consider a very extra comfort when you need to recharge energies sleeping, after a day exploring Rome from the hood of Prati.
Very important : just 4-6 minutes walking from the subway station called "LEPANTO" means ... Convenience & simplicity when you will arrive from Rome airports and train stations to the apartment address," Via Giuseppe Ferrari " , if you are not going to get to the address by taxi, the proximity of the subway station , that is connected with the main train station " Termini ", where it is possible to arrive with shuttle bus or with the " Leonardo Express train", will give you a perfect point from where to explore the city.
In fact, the connection with "Termini station" with the " A " subway line, give you access also to the "B" subway line or "blue" line, that give you more options to know the city also in other areas, where the "red A line" do not pass, for example, the Colosseum, or other places out from the Aurelian Roman Wall ( the defensive wall that surrounds the historical center of Rome, where is concentrated most of the works of art and monuments that make Rome one of the most great open-air museum in the entire World), like for example the port of Rome, Ostia Antica.
To know how to arrive in the apartment address do not hesitate to contact me, so I can give you tips in advance.
The apartment space offer 3 separate bedrooms with:
2 double rooms ( bedroom with double bed)
1 twin room ( bedroom with 2 single beds )
and it is equipped with drawers & cabinets
desks. Bed linen are provided by me.
It is possible to stamp online tickets , just let me know in advance.
Wi-Fi internet connection in all the flat
TV , Air-conditioning & heating .
there is one bathroom with shower, like n the pictures, where you will find hairdryer and towels, provided by me.
washing machine and griddle table, with griddle of course ..If you need to iron some dress for some party or wedding in the eternal city. ^_^
full equipped kitchenette, with electric oven, electric cooker, utensils, fridge and freezer, nook table , so you can enjoy the pleasure to have a home made lunch or dinner.
Groceries walking distance from your roman AIRBNB base, plus a well equipped kitchen, will give you the possibility to enjoy the pleasure to have a home in Rome and to cook by yourself if you want.
At the same time you can also enjoy the night life having very good restaurants, "pizzerie" and bars, just around the building, in a no touristic area of the city where you will find the best quality with no excessive prices, if you want to try a really Italian "pizza" , a special ice cream or traditional Italian cuisine , just in Prati neighborhood, or a really good "aperitivo" (happy hour), before dinner , just at the corner of the building in one of the best bars of the area, apart to go in different places in other neighborhoods of the city center, just walking distance from the building or with the good public transportation connections of the district.
SPORT IN ROME
About the apartment area:
Marathon of Rome " all roads lead to Rome "
Olimpic Stadium : ask about soccer italian first championship, " Serie A " .
ATP World tour 2015 Rome " Foro Italico "
Swimming pool .
For those that love to mix the visit in a cultural and historical city with their passion for sport, just next door there is the bus 280 that it is connected with the Olimpic area of the city.
Interaction with Guests
I am really frendly and helpful and I offer my home only on Airbnb, I like to respect the privacy of my guest, so I just give my contacts to share information they ask to me that can be useful for their travel, specially to arrive in the apartment and to visit Rome, I like to solve travel issues so my guest can have a special experience of travel being my guest in my apartment . I speak English, perfectly Spanish and Italian so you can contact me also in those languages.Thank you in advance to give me a review so the community of airbnb travelers can have a better idea of the place where you are going to stay and the way I try to be helpful with my guest needs about a better way to live this amazing city.
I love of my neighbourhood just what I love of Rome, that you can feel to have the possibility to walk from the XX sec. until the XVI sec., and just enter in a church like St. Louis of the French .The church's most famous item is the cycle of paintings in the "Contarelli" Chapel, painted by the Baroque master Caravaggio about the life of St. Matthew, then just cross Navona square and to find in Venice square, the possibility to see the roman forum from the balcony of the Campidolium .. Just ask to me about walking tours in the city, I can offer you "hand made" local tours or to give you infos about touristic tours with professional guides.
Prati is not a touristic area but it is close to many ones like San Peter and Vatican city, Piazza Navona, Trastevere, Pantheon and so on.. If you would like to explore also other areas where Romans use to go apart the city center, I am available to let you know what it is a "must" here, apart the most famous areas.
From your roman Airbnb home, You have the possibility to enjoy the city, also only by foot if you prefer, like I told you above, being walking distance (15-20 minutes ) from Vatican city with San Peter’s Basilica, its Michelangelo’s square , Vatican Museums with the amazing Sistine Chapel and, "Castel Sant'Angelo", where you can have perhaps one of the best terrace of the city, with all the city under your eyes or to go, always by foot , submerging yourself on the other side of the river Tevere, with Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, Spanish steps ( 20 minutes walking) , Trevi fountain ( 27 minutes walking ) , the amazing Piazza Navona, Pantheon, .. the Venice square with the monument of "Vittorio Emanuele" and, last but not least, to be shocked by the majestic Colosseum, and San Giovanni district...All this places walking on the main street of the historical center crossed by the street called “Via del Corso" , where you will have on both sides of the street all the main spots of the Renaissance district of the city center mentioned above.
I will be in touch with you by AIRBNB thread for easy reference, but of course you can contact me by mail or phone after a completed reservation.
Some info about the district by airbnb community

" But is it possible a Flexible check out? Yes, it is : but, cause it is possible there is a guest arriving the same day of your departure, please ask to the host the possibility to plan your flexible check OUT after 11:00 AM .
When I travel in some place, I like to respect the rules of the place that give me hospitality , specially if I am a guest in someone else home and country so, I would like you can stay here having the possibility to know how to be respectful about my home and the building , where there are others persons living around you ( neighbors) in the sense that you are not living in a hotel but in a real apartment so you can live in Rome like a local, of course, being respectful about local rules.
A base price for Cleaning fee it is included in the total price, after summing the price per night and per person, but depending on the number of persons and other extra services not included in the rental price it is possible to arrange a special price, ask to the host, about pick up service in the airports, tours in the city, cooking lessons, soccer Italian league tickets, or suggestions, before your arrival : ) so I can help you better.
Juan was very easy to communicate with and prompt with responses.
His sweet little home was perfect for our family, roomy and quiet in a very nice neighborhood. We all felt very safe wandering about or letting children run to the store. Very easy to jump on a bus or to walk to an adventure. Thank you!
This ground floor apartment is in a beautiful, leafy, quiet area of Rome that is still close enough to public transport and all the sights! Juan was lovely through the booking process and very helpful considering this was our first time using airbnb. He gave us a very nice welcome even though it was Christmas time and we felt very much at home, it was a wonderful stay in Rome.

My family it is not only Italian, but also spanish and german so, I have an international culture and I define myself like a cosmopolite. I am a jurisconsult and musician. My father it is an engineer & architect and he was a professor in the University of Rome, the city where I was born and where I use to live .. Well, he instil in me the passion for the roman architecture, temples , arts and gave me a chance to walk inside the streets of Rome with other eyes.. And my mother , working in the international organism like F.A.O. American Embassy and being diplomatic, have instilled in my way to think the passion for the world and its different cultures, an open mind about difference , and the reason I can speak Spanish and English . I' m on Airbnb to share my homes, or bases, like I use to call them, discovering a nice way to meet persons that love Rome and to feel me like in a big family of travelers.
Cause the work of my parents I travelled a lot during my life having the possibility to know different cities and countries. The most part of my life I was living through Italy, United Kindom, France, Spain, Argentine, Uruguay , Brasil, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba and U.S.A. That it is the reason that give me the passion to be your host, having been all the time really well welcomed in other countries , I learned practically or indirectly , to be a host. I enjoy life in Rome like a traveller, even if I am a resident cause this city it is amazing , not only in the centre but also out from the roman walls that it is the limit of the historical centre.. So I can help you to discover also other places not so common.
I like when my guest share with me their curiosities about Rome, its history , the monuments and good places to eat Italian food, so I can help them to have a better way to spend their days in the Airbnb community way to travel through locals homes. Each home has the personality of the host that will welcome you.
Thanks to Rome history and art everywhere, you will enjoy important moments of the so-called West World, from Romans period with its monuments, passing from the middle age centuries , folling in love in the Renaissance & Baroque part of the city unto the modernity with all its facilities, will give you a complete relaxing vacation for your soul and your body, cause the longs walking trips and the unforgettable flavours that you will taste here, something that also after many years you would like to try again or to tell to someone that you would like to suggest a great place to visit, to see and perhaps, for living ^_^

Living in an historical city like Rome, full of art history , you can travel around the history of art , just walking from one hood to another one, cause in Rome you have one of the best example of the travel of part of the humanity along the centuries.
I like the concept of "slow food", and I found in Italy my favourites recipes about pasta , pizza , and the Italian gastronomic culture. So I can share with you many tips on where to find good places to enjoy your days in Rome, so you can be inspired not only by the beauty of the paintings , sculptures and monuments but also by the unique flavours that can be tasted in Rome.
I lived also in Argentine, in Buenos Aires DC, where I finished my high school , so I speak Spanish , English and Italian. But thank to my Airbnb guests I am having a good way to practice the Shakespeare language, and the Spanish language. I am trying to learn Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Sveden but it is not so simple ^_^..
Apart other works I use to do, with music and languages , I consider my host experience like a work, where I find a way to express many of my passions an qualities.
My favorites experience in my life: love, music, waves, friends, poems, sunsets, nature, art & good food.
