Total Privacy Intown! Buckhead studio near Midtown and the trendy Westside village.

I am not at home much, so you will have the place to yourself while you are here. If you interested in local real estate -- I am your guy.... I've been an agent for 24 years in this market.

This property is near Georgia Tech and there is a bus stop on DeFoors Ave. (#37) which takes you to the Arts Center MARTA train station. On the way to the Art Center the bus stops at the popular Atlantic Station area, home of Ikea, Target, Dillards, the Bodies Exhibit, restaurants, banks etc. The Arts Center area is surrounded by the Woodruff Arts Center which is home of the High Museum, Atlanta Symphony, Alliance Theatre, and Atlanta College of Art. From this Art Center area you can also walk to Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The bus trip to the DeFoors/Collier area from MARTA'S Art Center Station is only 18 minutes.

This home has a full kitchen, living room with a divider that separates it from the bedroom. There is also a full bathroom, walk-in closet, washer/dryer, and covered balcony. There is a brand new 32" HD LCD TV and a DVD player - the RedBox DVD rental service is available at the nearby WalMart and Kroger, both on Howell Mill Road.

Minutes to many tourist attractions include Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park, High Museum, the new Ferris Wheel, and IKEA! Coming soon to downtown (just minutes away) are the College Football Hall of Fame and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

The Westside village has some of the most amazing and trendy restaurants in the city as well as great art galleries. Westside Provisions is the crown jewel of the District at the intersection of Howell Mill Road and Huff Road near 14th St.. There is an amazing array of eateries including JCT Kitchen, Abattoir, Yeah! Burger, Ormsby's, Taqueria del Sol, Figo Pasta, West Egg Cafe, and the one that started it all -- Bacchanalia. Shops include Anthropologie, Room & Board, and many other unique boutiques.

Two excellent restaurants are near the studio including Figo Pasta (walking distance) and Nuevo Laredo Cantina. The Chattahoochee district nearby is home to many unique shops.

If you are looking for a place inside the Perimeter close to downtown, midtown, Westside, and Buckhead this is it.

Also very close to Piedmont Hospital.

Plenty of free parking which is very rare for this location.

The kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pans/etc and there are sheets and towels for your use.

  • JD's place was spotless and had everything we needed. He doesn't live there so don't expect a super stocked kitchen but there were plenty of linens and even toiletries we could have used had we needed them. He kept just the right amount of contact with us and was kurt but very nice. Overall we had a great time and things went smoothly. Comfy bed and cute little porch area.

  • We had a very good experience at JD's studio. This is a small studio apartment, but it comfortably accommodated two people (a couple). There was an issue with the air conditioning the first night, but JD was very proactive about making sure the situation was fixed quickly. The apartment is about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station, which was nice; unfortunately, the bus only comes once an hour, so it's not always the most convenient way to travel (FYI, we had a lot of difficulty actually finding the bus schedule - (website hidden) and the Marta website both gave us incorrect times). We ended up using Uber (taxi) most of our stay. Had we known more about Atlanta, we definitely would have rented a car, as the taxi (which was the same as the shuttle for 2 people) cost ~$40 to get to the airport. We ate at the mexican restaurant right outside of the gated community (I think it was called Verde Taqueria) and thought it was really good! They had skinny margaritas for $5 and trivia night on Thursday, and a nice outdoor patio to relax and enjoy our drinks after dinner. Just a tip if you're looking for an inexpensive but really good dinner! We would definitely stay at this studio again, but next time would rent a car.

  • Great location near Howell Mill and Collier, restaurants and shopping all near by. JD (email hidden) who was always available with any needs I had, he was also very easy to work with in setting up my late arrival time on the day of check in. Definitely will keep this location in mind for my future travel needs to Atlanta.

  • What can I say other than perfect. JD was very helpful especially since this was my first time booking. The condo was clean well maintained. I don't think you could ask for a better location. Fast food, drugstore ,restaurants all within walking distance. The location definitely made it easy since I was here for the winter storms. When it's time to come back to Atlanta the condo will be on the top of my list!!

  • JD's place was perfect for what we needed for a short stay. Great apartment. We loved it was in a gated complex, and it was very quiet every night when we got back to the apt. The apt. was nice and well taken care of. Loved having the balcony too!

Minutes from lots of restaurants and only about 10 mins from downtown which was great for us! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Atlanta. Thanks!

  • The studio in Buckhead is in an excellent location. Easy access to most major Highways in Atlanta and minutes from anywhere you want to be during your stay. The condo is in a nice quiet gated community with easy parking. The condo itself is a nice size, perfect for a couple. The kitchen was great to cook in, even with two people in the kitchen at the same time. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit and a full walk in closet. The host, JD was wonderful. He was very easy to reach if we had any questions and great to work with. We would love to stay at JDs condo next time we need a place in Atlanta.

  • I LOVED staying at JD's apartment... it looks much bigger in real life than the pictures show..... it was a home from home for me.....I spent 2 weeks there and every day couldnt wait to get back to the apartment... the bed was really comfy, the shower was hot, the heating was great! and internet which was really important to me was very fast and always working.....

The apartment is in a gated community which made me feel really safe and the area in itself is lovely... lots of restaurants, gas station, and only 6 minute drive to town..... JD was lovely to.... and really helpful when I needed him..... I'll defiantly be staying there again when I come back to ATL......

    Thank you JD!

  • We had another wonderful stay at JD's place.
The L- shaped apt is nicely laid out with a large walk in closet and well equipped kitchen. Not to mention a very cute balcony. The well thought out floor plan makes it a very comfortable place to stay.
JD always responds promptly to all inquires.

  • Love staying at JD's place. Quick response to my text/(website hidden) is every bit as described and pictured. My first choice for staying in ATL.

  • This compact studio is set in a quiet and secure setting and has everything one needs. Appreciated the comfortable mattress, great Wi-Fi, and the good appliances. Loved being able to walk to the many good restaurants at night - especially Figo and Taqueria Verde. JD was a most helpful and courteous host. Would definitely stay again when in Atlanta.
