Total Privacy Intown! Buckhead studio near Midtown and the trendy Westside village.
I am not at home much, so you will have the place to yourself while you are here. If you interested in local real estate -- I am your guy.... I've been an agent for 24 years in this market.
This property is near Georgia Tech and there is a bus stop on DeFoors Ave. (#37) which takes you to the Arts Center MARTA train station. On the way to the Art Center the bus stops at the popular Atlantic Station area, home of Ikea, Target, Dillards, the Bodies Exhibit, restaurants, banks etc. The Arts Center area is surrounded by the Woodruff Arts Center which is home of the High Museum, Atlanta Symphony, Alliance Theatre, and Atlanta College of Art. From this Art Center area you can also walk to Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The bus trip to the DeFoors/Collier area from MARTA'S Art Center Station is only 18 minutes.

Check out my Guidebook.
Please leave it the way you found it. Place dirty linens in the laundry area and put dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Also please take all of your trash to one of the many dumpsters on-site.
There is no external vent in the kitchen, so please no smelly cooking!
We have no coffee maker or iron in the condo and ask our guests not to bring one. We have had 2 different guests who have destroyed the finish on a couple of antiques using flat surfaces as ironing boards. Do this and expect to lose your deposit at the very least. Coffeemakers we feel are also a fire hazard so use the French coffee press provided. If you need your clothing pressed there is a dry cleaner next to the main entrance.
Pet Policy: NO PETS!! Violators will lose their deposit at very least.
Condition of property is monitored closely. Any missing items will be dealt with through either the damage deposit or the insurance the site provides however guests are responsible for their behavior and treatment of the property. NO PARTIES!! If the plan is for your stay to be out of control, find another place.
JD's place is totally convenient. He sent great instructions on getting into the complex and apartment. The apartment is comfortable and mostly equipped with what you need. It's very quiet!
Place was just as described. It was perfect for me as a business traveler on my own: clean, quiet, comfy. Some great restaurants right across the street from the property entrance.
This studio is beautiful. It has every accommodation you can hope for. Very clean with plenty of "the little things": plastic cutlery, toiletries, etc. I would highly recommend.
On time and easy to access. Unit was tidy and comfortable enough. Bed was to small/uncomfortable for two people. Needs iron and ironing board. Thanks.
Well it is a double bed which is for two, most people have described the bed as comfortable. As clearly stated in our house rules we don't have an iron and ask that irons not be brought in for safety reasons. I've had two different guests use an antique dresser as an ironing board, so enough said.
JD's studio was exactly as he described. The balcony was a wonderful place to start our day with coffee. We walked everywhere we needed to go. I would stay here again. The studio is amazingly quiet.
What a cute little apartment! Everything was exactly as described. Very quiet little area close to everything.... would definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.
JD was a great host. He gave clear instructions on accessing the apartment and left us to ourselves otherwise. The apartment is nice. Although it's centrally located, the neighborhood itself is not "hip." It has the stores you'll need and is quiet. Definitely an area where you'll need a car.

I am going to be absent during your stay but generally close by if you need some info or for unforeseen problems. I keep my place clean and expect the same from my guests. Parties are not permitted. The neighbors just won't tolerate it and someone is inevitably invited that is destructive in some fashion. That being said, I should comment that most of my airbnb experiences have been positive.
Hey, enjoy my place and your privacy, follow house rules and all will be "jake."
