Nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys in Asheville, NC. Hidden Flower Tiny Farm is the perfect getaway for relaxing. Guests can enjoy all their creature comforts while trying out living off-grid in a yurt. Located on 5 acres in the heart of the Appalachian MNTS you feel like you are in the country; while only 5 MILES to all that downtown has to offer & 4 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our motto here is Small, Simple, Sweet, Stress-Free & Sustainable. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION.

The space
This light and airy yurt is mostly off-grid and great for eco-friendly thinking guests, who will treat this home with love and care. Walk out on the deck and enjoy stunning views, great sunsets, stargazing & lots of wildlife. Take the weekend and UNPLUG with a great book! Bring your yoga mat and embrace the calm that this round space provides.

The yurt has a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, toaster oven, french press coffee maker, cooktop, and all your dining essentials. Enjoy a hot shower inside and a top-of-the-line natures head composting toilet. A QUEEN size bed overlooking the mountain ridge and our tiny flower farm. Beautiful picturesque LARGE windows with stunning views. Cork flooring and vaulted yurt ceiling with skylight and ceiling fan.

Enjoy the WILDLIFE (turkey, coyote, bear, deer, salamander, owls, hawks, etc) on the great big deck. Our tiny farm has young fruit trees, gardens, flowers, chickens, and a dog and a cat. Roast marshmallows outside on the firepit or head out to the super close and tasty farm to table dining, art, shopping & more.

You will need to walk from the parking area to the yurt. It is not too far but you will need appropriate shoes for walking through a small field area.

THE YURT SLEEPS 3 (two in a queen bed and one on the air mattress) Please book our other three tiny houses as well for larger groups.

Hidden Flower Tiny Farm also offers elopements. Elope by the barn with the Blue Ridge Mountains as your backdrop. Gather with your closest companions and share your vows and an evening fire.

Contact us today via an internet search for more information on our web page Hidden Flower Tiny Farm.

Guest access
Feel free to enjoy the views and wildlife. There is a tiny hiking trail if you go behind the barn (cut out in fence leads to trail). Let us know if you need anything or have any questions.

Other things to note
IMPORTANT INFO: The yurt is mostly off-grid. This means that it is very important to be conservative with your energy consumption. You are welcome to use all your normal devices but please unplug devices and turn off lights when you are away.

Enjoy a nice hot shower but be aware that all water goes directly into our gardens. So, please use the good quality plant-based products provided. Also, the hot water comes from our hot water heater in our home so it can take a minute to get to the yurt. The toilet is a composting toilet. It is very important that you use the toilet as instructed. If used properly there will be NO bothersome smells.

There is a propane wall heater to be used intermittently to warm the space up when need be. There is also a woodstove. If you are not familiar with woodstoves please ask for a tutorial on how to use them. Unfortunately, we do not provide wood but you are welcome to stop on your way to the yurt at the grocery and grab a bundle or two.

Please let us know if you have any questions about anything and we will be happy to help.

Location

Asheville, North Carolina, United States

We are located at the end of a road in a neighborhood. Our home is located in the mountains so please be aware that it is hilly and also a tiny flower farm.

There are neighbors nearby so please keep things down after 10 pm. We are at the beginning of a cove so noise travels easily and bounces.

Please also be aware that there are bears that walk through the property from time to time. Please do not leave any trash or food out that may attract them.

There is a 24-hour grocery 3 miles away. Lots of great locally-owned restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, bakeries, breweries, and cocktail lounges located within 5-10min.

There are 3 tiny houses, a yurt, and our home on this five-acre property. There is private space for each lodge to cook out, have an evening fire, and relax.
The tiny hiking trail is used by us and all guests.

We are from Asheville so please feel free to ask any questions about the area.
