Beautiful mountain and “white water” river front views with oak, pine and cedar trees make your stay peaceful and a relaxing one. There’s a swimming pool, or if you prefer, a swimming hole in the Bear River. Guests have caught fish. Rural setting, however close to shopping.

The space
“The River Roost” is a separate Guest House on the Gregory Estate. Farmhouse decor offers a casual environment. Four and a half areas of the foothills finest environment in the Gold Country. Take a hike down to the Bear River. Picnic on the hill. Relax in zero gravity lounge chairs on your deck. BBQ on a gas, dual burner “Char-Broil” all year long.
The guest house is good for a maximum of three people, (two adults and their child.) A port-a-crib or sleep mats are available to use. Wi-Fi connection is only available in the courtyard and around the pool.(8.11mbps) There is an ethernet connection at the desk.

We are in a rural Nevada County, on a private paved road, 6 tenths of a mile from Highway 49, and 15 minutes from Highway interstate 80. Grass Valley is 15 minute drive. North Auburn is a 10 minute drive.
The Weather Channel location is Grass Valley.
