Diamond Ridge is even more lovely in summer, our snow-capped mountains still seen in the distance! Warm grays, red accents give the interior a "lodge" feel, hinting of our beautiful Northern California outdoors! Check out the deck and look for crisp, fiery red sunrises, coffee in hand, if you dare to be up early enough!

A quiet and friendly neighborhood, one exit to Bethel Church, 12 mi to Shasta Dam!

Location

Redding, California, United States

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just inside the Northridge Community, you will find a quiet neighborhood of friendly people and very light traffic. Our neighbors are vigilant and have partnered with us for the safety of our property and our guests!

A walk across Diamond Ridge St from the cul-de-sac places you in a small park with children's playground and picnic area.

“Country drives” abound around Redding. As you exit the neighborhood, try turning right at the stop sign on Mountain View Drive and Constitution Way/Twin View for a lovely winding road offering great views of our Lassen Mountains, Churn Creek and other streams. Take in the family farms, livestock and horses amidst the varied and beautiful “rocks and rills” of Redding’s outskirts! Watch for brilliant sunrises during cold weather and amazing sunsets in the hotter months!

We began visiting Redding for events at Bethel Church in 2004 when we lived in Washington State. We moved to the Bay Area in 2013 and came up in 2018 as volunteers in the Carr Fire effort. That was when we decided to buy a property and open an Air BnB so that the public, friends and family could enjoy the Redding area and Bethel Church as much as we have! We have since retired and moved to Redding ourselves. We live a few miles outside of town where we continue to raise our youngest and have, of course, made Bethel our church home! There is so much to do in this region of California - look for our guide book at the Cottage and a list of places to see in the online manual! We have just hired a new cleaning service that specializes in added protection for our guests during this viral scare. More details can be found in the property description. Please contact us with any questions. you may have! We are delighted to have you, to meet you and to make your stay in Redding a happy and memorable one!

During your stay
Trash and recycle pick-up day is weekly: early Thurs morning. A neighbor, Jeff, will move the cans to the street on Wed evening, returning them on Thursday. He also uses the exterior “man door” to move packages we receive from porch to inside garage occasionally so do not be alarmed if you see or hear Jeff helping us out!

Contact us with any questions you may have or help that we may be able to give! We’re available for any concerns or to answer questions. Our phone number will become available when you book, and texting is the most successful way to reach us!
