The solarium-covered seasonal pool, lawn, hammock and world-class Granite Gardens Trails are just below the Treehouse door.

You may spot exotic insects of all varieties. None of these will hurt you if you keep your distance.

Other things to note
* Please Note: Heaven on Earth Retreat is a safe space for the 20 - 30% o'f Americans who are allergic to dogs and cats. Though I LOVE animals of all kinds, because I am the resident, owner and house cleaner with life-threatening allergies to dogs and cats, I cannot accept any service animal here at my home. I already have noted an exemption to the service animal policy with AirBnB. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Because Heaven on Earth Retreat also serves as a wildlife sanctuary, it is entirely smoke free, drug free, and pet free (and service animal free) so as not to disturb the abundant wildlife and or make ill your caretaking, house-cleaning resident hosts who are allergic to dogs and cats.
You may encounter javelina, lizards, deer, antelope, raccoons, coyotes, foxes, ring-tailed cats, roadrunners, hawks, bald eagles, crickets, ants, snakes, mosquitoes, spiders and other exotic insects inside and outside your Airbnb. We have taken all the precautions possible to dissuade and remove them from indoors without using toxic fumigants or pesticides. Please understand that if you do encounter any kind of wildlife of any size in this spectacular retreat set in nature surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery, any visitor from the surrounding wilderness is not grounds for a refund.
Cozily situated beneath towering trees in a serene wildlife sanctuary, the retreat-like premises features a shared HILLTOP DOME with yoga mats, lovely musical instruments for couples and kids, plus blankets and cushions ideal for meditation, relaxation, reading and siestas. It is rare to encounter anyone else in the delightful Dome. To access the Dome, please respect other Airbnb Guests who may be staying in the Cave Castle by quietly walking up the steps to the Dome without hesitating on any of the Cave Castle's multiple decks along the way. Thank you.
The Dome's door can sometimes be sticky, though it is never locked. Feel free to keep open the door, round windows and large rectangular flaps or keep them closed according to your preference for your optimal warmth or coolness.
If you choose to move the Dome's cushions circled around the colorful round wool rug or move any yoga mats rolled or blankets folded on the shelves, please return them to keep the dome neatly and tidily for everyone's maximum enjoyment.
If during cooler months, you use the Dome's flame-flickering electric wood stove, please turn it off when done.
If you make tea in the Dome, please wash your cup, return it to the Dome and kindly restock with more tea bags from your Airbnb kitchen. Thank you! :)
Feel free to safely enjoy the flagstone-rimmed naturally solar-heated Swimming Pool inside the Solarium that is shared though you will only very rarely find someone else in it. The lawns are organic and even edible with awe-inspiring cliff and forest views surrounding them.
A seasonal stream flows through the premises into a forest with a seasonal garden pond complete with a small wild island surrounded by trees and sheer canyon walls that flow with waterfalls after each heavy rain. Please take care to not get too close to the quickly flowing stream during heavy rains.
The panoramic views from above Magnificent Watson Lake are especially colorful before sunset. The best viewpoint is near the Hilltop Ramada overlooking the lake inside Watson Lake Park. It can be reached via hiking, bicycling or most easily by driving the 2 miles there in less than 5 minutes. Once inside Watson Lake Park, drive straight, passing the meadow on your left and swing sets on your right. Then drive straight up the hill with restrooms on your left. At the top curve around and park at the far edge of the parking lot overlooking the lake near the ramada to your left. Walk 100 feet down toward the cliffs of the lake for the best views and to most easily access miles of lakeside trails.
