Welcome to Hamro Sunaulo Sansar! We are a non-profit organization, formally founded on January 6th, 2016. We provide shelter, food, clothing, and education to homeless and vulnerable children affected by the earthquake of 2015.

We are now offering our spare room to the AirBnB market to help support our fundraising. You will be welcomed as one of the family and will experience a unique and authentic perspective on Nepal that you will never forget.

The space
The room is simple but cosy, with one double and one single bed. This is not a glamorous stay but we will make sure that all your basic needs are met. Your room is on the second floor where there is wifi, a basic kitchenette and bathroom, while on the first floor is the living room, kitchen and children's dorms. The building also has a shared sunny veranda that guests are welcome to use.

Narayantar is an authentic example of humble Kathmandu culture. The short walk from the orphanage to the main road is through peaceful lanes with general basic stores, and on the main road you will find everything else you might need - food, shopping and entertainment. To walk to the beautiful Boudha Stupa is less than 30 minutes and we highly recommend you to go.

During your stay
The children are at school from 9-4, Sunday to Friday. During this time there will be somebody at home to help you with whatever you need and answer your questions. Naturally, while the children are at home they demand most of our attention. You are welcome to be involved with the daily affairs of the orphanage as much as you like. You will immediately find that the children are fun and friendly and very interested to spend time with you.
