Hans and Denise were extraordinarily accommodating hosts. It was a pleasure to stay with them; the setting is beautiful and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake.

We very much enjoyed the magical surroundings at Stephens Creek. The creek was running strong and the little paths were fun to walk along.

Space was lovely, and hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast basket was overflowing, and they had great suggestions for exploring. The cabin is a short walk from the water and the hot tub and sauna were perfect. The cabin is in their back yard. I definitely recommend Stephens Creek Guest House - a lovely getaway!

We loved our stay in this cabin! Denise and Hans were warm and friendly yet still respectful of our privacy. They arranged to have a friend meet us and show us the property. The breakfast baskets were delightful; granola, fruit, boiled eggs, juice, snack bars. The cabin is not really for cooking in, there is a microwave and small refrigerator(no freezer). My 6'3" husband especially enjoyed the overhead rainfall shower! The biggest thrill of our trip was watching for 45 minutes a young black bear from the deck of our cabin eating acorns from the tree closeby. Be sure to explore the charming bohemian village and shoreline of Robert's Creek, dinner at the Gumboot was delicious. Pender Hill is a lovely hike with views.

Response from Hans:
Glad you enjoyed your stay, and thanks for the comments. There is a BBQ for use of the guests. There was a lot of brochures and information on hiking in the area on the side table and yes Pender Hill is wonderful. We had been away ourselves for 10 days prior to your visit, and living in a rain forest does bring wildlife. Max obviously was with us and not on guard. Thanks Sheryl. ps. The bear seems to have moved on, between the baby bear and the stellar jays, I think every acorn is off the big oak tree!

Hans and Denise were wonderful -- consummate hosts who made us feel very welcome. The property is incredibly beautiful, as is the surrounding area, with lovely beaches, forests, and good food all within easy reach. The outdoor hot tub was a special pleasure, and the morning breakfasts delicious and plentiful.... Highly, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in the Chicken House and were well taken care of by Denise and Hans during Valentine's Day weekend. The cottage was just as described--private and cozy on a large lot with access to a hot tub, sauna, the beach, and nice hiking trails. The cottage was immaculate and spacious. Denise was very welcoming when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us some advice on hiking trails in the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We had previously arranged for Denise and Hans to prepare us dinner on our first night and it was absolutely delicious. On the second night, they invited us to dine with them and their friends in their "pirate ship," or, as Denise called it, "Hans' man-cave." They were great company and made our last night in Roberts Creek very memorable. The hot tub and sauna were added bonuses and we definitely took advantage of it. On a clear night, you could appreciate the stars from the hot tub and hear the water running along the creek. We'd love to come back whenever we get a chance!

The location is ideal for a couple + a dog to get away from the city. Relaxing atmosphere, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for some piece and quiet. The beach is within walking distance and is an absolute bonus. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They provided us with a nice breakfast on each of the mornings that we where there. They were knowledgeable and easy to get a hold of.
