We like a lot to talk with them about their and our travel experiences.

The Neighborhood

What we love from our neighborhood? It is so green! we have a big park just 5 meters in front of our house, and there are other 4 parks in 3 minutes walking distance. We are so close to the center of cancun but at the same time it is really quiet and safe. In this neighborhood you will find only houses and it has a very high life quality. You can go jogging right next to the B&B and you can reach also the nearest beach .

Getting around

Getting around: After 8 minutes walking you will reach the central bus station, thats where you arrive from the airport or where you can take a bus to Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Mérida, Valladolid, Chichen-Itza or even Mexico City :-) From the main street next to it you can take all the public transport that goes to the hotel zone, where all the beaches are, they stop every 3 mins. From there you can also take a bus or a taxi to go to the harbour and take the ferry to Isla Mujeres

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Our time with Ana and Hector was short but wonderful. Ana is the consummate hostess, serving a beautiful breakfast and telling us all we needed to know about the neighbourhood, dining places, keys for the property, etc. I only wish we had been there longer! Thanks again!

  • Ana and Hector are lovely! My husband and I enjoyed staying in their tastefully decorated house. Ana has several souvenirs from all over the world which made for very interesting conversations. Also, Ana's breakfast deserves a special mention - we are both vegetarian and Ana went out of her way to prepare a hearty breakfast each morning. Thank you Ana and Hector!

  • Anna and Hector welcomed us into their lovely home as if we were family. We were pleased with the comfortable bed, large quiet room, and clean bathroom.
The substantial freshly cooked breakfasts and tropical fruit were a welcome treat and sustained us until late in the day. The location, a few blocks from the central bus station, many local buses, and a major grocery store was very convenient and enabled us to easily reach and spend time at local attractions. Do not miss el Museo Mayo and la Playa Delfines, an easy bus ride away.
We would definitely recommend la Casa Naranja!

  • Ana and Hector were delightful and very helpful hosts. The room we had was well set-up and carefully thought out for the benefit of their guests. Since the tap water in Cancun is not safe to drink Ana provided a pitcher of water along with two glasses for drinking and brushing our teeth. This was in addition to the mugs, coffee pot and coffee & tea fixings she had for us in the room. She also made sure we knew where to refill our pitcher in the kitchen and encouraged us to use their water to refill our water bottles before we went out each day. They also helped us with finding a less expensive option to tour Chichen Itza and some great restaurants. They were both very gracious about answering our questions about Cancun and Mexico. Although we were sharing the bathroom with another guest it was never a problem and there is a half-bath on the ground floor. AND then there were the wonderful Mexican breakfasts that Ana cooked each morning. In fact, when we left at 06:30am for our tour Ana had packed us a lunch since we would miss breakfast that day; which we never expected of her. We never got to enjoy sitting on the roof terrace or using the hammock, perhaps next time. The neighborhood felt very safe, even walking back at night, and taxis and buses were easily accessible.
The only surprise was that the room is upstairs. But the stairs were very easy to navigate and they even helped with our bags.

  • Ana and Hector were very nice and accommodated us even though we arrived before our check in time. Good location and nice breakfast. The bedroom was very big, comfortable and clean.

  • Ana and Hector were welcoming from the start! It felt like we were walking into our grandparents' home the way they made us feel homely. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!

  • This is our second trip to Cancun and staying with Ana and Hector. Once again we had a wonderful time sharing experiences with the hosts, enjoying truly tasty and nutritional breakfasts in their lovely home, and visiting a number of local sights. Because they live in a lovely little neighborhood in central Cancun we were able to get to Isla Mujeres, the El Rey ruins, and Cancun Mayan Museum using the nearby buses and ferry system. Staying with Ana and Hector is a true joy.

  • AWESOME!!!
Ana and Hector have a beautiful home. They were very welcoming, helpful with navigating the city and had fantastic breakfast.
One of the most appealing assets was waking in the morning to the songs of birds and looking out the bedroom window at the trees.
The location is great, walking distance to the mall, Walmart if you need that sort of thing.
They respect your privacy, but are available to answer questions.
The home was very clean the bed comfortable and the bedroom large.
This was my first trip to Cancun, and I would recommend to everyone that they stay with Ana and Hector.
Thank you AirBnB for finding great places like this to stay.

  • We contacted Ana and Hector last minute before getting on a bus to Cancun. They still welcomed us with open arms and were extremely helpful. Their house is beautiful especially the kitchen. We had a comfortable and quiet one night stay with a delicious breakfast in the morning. Ana even dropped us off at the bus station in the morning. We can not thank you enough for opening your home and hearts. I would recommend their B&B to anyone and everyone! Thanks again!

Hola! We Ana & Hector live in the paradise of Cancun, we arrived here in 1974, when it was a small fishers village without big hotels and have experienced the evolution of the city until now. We love to go to the beach, work in our house and garden and enjoy being with our family and grand children. We opened our small and cozy B&B in October 2010 and we just love it to meet people from all around the world and have nice conversations with each of our guests. We also love to travel and try to see a new place every year. Our favorite travel destinations are Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, Switzerland and the USA. When we travel we like to meet the local people, talk with them, eat the typical dishes and simply connect with their culture.
