Located right in the centre of Dublin's gorgeous shopping district this is a perfect location for a visit to Dublin.
Our cosy and comfortable guest room and a scrumptious breakfast each morning await you.
We really want you to have a fabulous stay so we would like to make sure you know that:-
1. Being so central, it can get noisy at night. If you are a light sleeper you may like to bring earplugs.
2. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs with NO LIFT - a built-in workout each day ;)
A cosy and comfortable guest-room in a wonderfully charismatic apartment. You will be a guest in our home (where we live full-time), which is on the top floor of one of Dublin's most historic and beautiful Victorian red brick buildings - perfect for a visit to Dublin.
The apartment is located right in the city centre just a 1 minute walk from Grafton Street and perhaps 3 minutes from Trinity College, St Stephen's Green, and Temple Bar. You walk downstairs and you are immediately in the hub bub of Dublin's upmarket, trendy but elegant South Side.
It is important to mention that we are located up 3 flights of stairs and as the apartment is in an old charismatic building there is NO LIFT. The convenience is that you will certainly go home fitter than you came :) and with all the delicious food on offer in Dublin you might be happy to have a work out built in to your holiday break.
The guest room is opposite the bathroom on the main level of the apartment and is a comfortable size, has a double bed with 100% cotton linen, feather pillows and a down duvet.
The bathroom, which is shared with me, has a great shower, fresh towels and lots of hot water. (Hairdryer, adaptors and chargers are available.)
The apartment has wi-fi but also has a pc available for guests to use if they don't have a tablet or laptop with them.
We have a large screen for movie nights if you come back after a long day's site seeing and want a quiet night in.
Interaction with guests
I live in the in the apartment full-time, which means I am on hand to give good advice and tips of all the great things to do in Dublin as well as to make sure you have the best possible stay.
Other things to note
Dublin is a wonderful city and the apartment is in perhaps one of the best locations to be able to really enjoy the city. Everything is right here, just open the front door and you are immediately immersed in the hustle and bustle of Dublin.
Unfortunately, being in the heart of everything can also mean that you may occasionally be able to hear the Irish pubs from the apartment at night. We are constantly assured by our various guests it is not loud enough to disturb your sleep but nevertheless earplugs are never a bad thing to bring along :)
The apartment has a non smoking policy but we do have a terrace where guests are welcome to smoke should they so wish.
