Located right in the centre of Dublin's gorgeous shopping district this is a perfect location for a visit to Dublin.

Our cosy and comfortable guest room and a scrumptious breakfast each morning await you.

We really want you to have a fabulous stay so we would like to make sure you know that:-
1. Being so central, it can get noisy at night. If you are a light sleeper you may like to bring earplugs.
2. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs with NO LIFT - a built-in workout each day ;)

The space

A cosy and comfortable guest-room in a wonderfully charismatic apartment. You will be a guest in our home (where we live full-time), which is on the top floor of one of Dublin's most historic and beautiful Victorian red brick buildings - perfect for a visit to Dublin.

The apartment is located right in the city centre just a 1 minute walk from Grafton Street and perhaps 3 minutes from Trinity College, St Stephen's Green, and Temple Bar. You walk downstairs and you are immediately in the hub bub of Dublin's upmarket, trendy but elegant South Side.

Guest access

It is important to mention that we are located up 3 flights of stairs and as the apartment is in an old charismatic building there is NO LIFT. The convenience is that you will certainly go home fitter than you came :) and with all the delicious food on offer in Dublin you might be happy to have a work out built in to your holiday break.

The guest room is opposite the bathroom on the main level of the apartment and is a comfortable size, has a double bed with 100% cotton linen, feather pillows and a down duvet.

The bathroom, which is shared with me, has a great shower, fresh towels and lots of hot water. (Hairdryer, adaptors and chargers are available.)

The apartment has wi-fi but also has a pc available for guests to use if they don't have a tablet or laptop with them.

We have a large screen for movie nights if you come back after a long day's site seeing and want a quiet night in.

Interaction with guests

I live in the in the apartment full-time, which means I am on hand to give good advice and tips of all the great things to do in Dublin as well as to make sure you have the best possible stay.

Other things to note

Dublin is a wonderful city and the apartment is in perhaps one of the best locations to be able to really enjoy the city. Everything is right here, just open the front door and you are immediately immersed in the hustle and bustle of Dublin.

Unfortunately, being in the heart of everything can also mean that you may occasionally be able to hear the Irish pubs from the apartment at night. We are constantly assured by our various guests it is not loud enough to disturb your sleep but nevertheless earplugs are never a bad thing to bring along :)

I had the wonderful experience of staying at Victoria and Franks lovely home over this past St. Patrick's Day. This was my first experience with airbnb and I couldn't have had more gracious hosts. As a solo female traveller, I was very cautious in choosing an airbnb location, especially with it being my first experience using it. I chose Victoria's home based on her previous reviews, and it was definitely the perfect choice! Her home was lovely and in a perfect location near Temple Bar. Everything was exactly as described in her listing. And Victoria was a lovely host, providing (and actually cooking) a wonderful breakfast for me in the mornings, even getting up super early to leave out breakfast for me on the morning I had a very early tour. I also had a lovely time having dinner with her and her colleagues at her restaurant, and also chatting with her and her husband in the evenings. She was super helpful with information helping me getting around Dublin over the crazy holiday, and also providing great tips on things to do. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better choice for my first airbnb experience, and I would definitely choose to stay here again, in a heartbeat, and probably will if she is available, when I decide to go back to Dublin. I highly recommend Victoria's home if you are looking to stay in central Dublin! Thank you again to both of them for a lovely stay in Dublin!

What a wonderful first experience of Airbnb, Victoria was engaging, helpful and just a great host. She made me feel welcome immediately and the accommodation is fantastic. It is perfect for my new job and out of work, there is such a wide and varied amount of restaurants and bars around I can't recommend highly enough. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful hosts from start to finish with exceptional communication and local advice and recs. Such kind and interesting, well-traveled people. They even left us a sweet note and honeymoon gift. Great location!! We walked everywhere and parked our rental car just around the corner per Victoria's help. Minimal privacy just FYI but all exactly as pictured on Airbnb.

Response from Victoria:
It was great to meet you guys and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. So happy you liked your candle :) I just wanted provide a quick response to your comment on there being 'minimal privacy'. As mentioned in our airbnb description we live in the apartment full time. Our apartment, which is a great size for such a central location, is never going to offer as much space and privacy as your beautiful, spacious, suburban home in the US. We are so sorry if you were disappointed. Our other guests have welcomed our being on-site to provide advice for site-seeing, restaurants etc but perhaps, in hindsight, for the first night of your honeymoon, it might have been better if you had selected to stay in a hotel or an airbnb 'entire home'. This would have guaranteed total privacy as the hosts would not have been present in the apartment. Thank you for saying that everything is exactly as pictured on Airbnb as we really think it is important that our description is totally accurate so that our guests have a fantastic stay with us. Hope the rest of the honeymoon is fabulous. "Wherever you go and whatever you do, May the luck of the Irish be there with you." Go maire sibh bhur saol nua

This was one of our best experiences with AirBnB to date. There is a reason Victoria is labeled a "superhost." She was an absolute delight to rent from for our two days in Dublin. She was warm, inviting, and sat down with us when got there to help us plan our stay (i.e., where to eat, visit, walk, etc.). She has the best tips and suggestions! Her place was clean and well decorated and communication was never an issue. Even though she had to work early the first morning, she laid out a breakfast spread for us and made sure we had everything we needed. We would strongly recommend staying with Victoria, not only for the reason that the flat is central to most of attractions in Dublin but also because she is a just a joy to be around. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and conversations with Victoria (and her husband Frank). Thank you for a spectacular stay, Victoria!

Victoria's listing is accurate and she was a fantastic host. Everything from communication in advance to clear, specific directions and greeting us on arrival to a wonderful, beautifully laid out breakfast. In addition, she gave us a map and targeted recommendations on what sights to visit during our brief stay and we enjoyed every place she suggested for dining. She and her husband went above and beyond our final evening by showing us more places to go to during the rest of our European trip and reserving a taxi to pick us up for the airport early in the morning. Highly recommend if you want to stay in and explore the heart of Dublin.

Victoria is hands down the best host we've ever had! Not only did she give wonderful tips and tricks for what to do and where to eat in Dublin, she also welcomed us with sparkling wine and pre-dinner dessert!! Breakfast was a great touch too! Victoria is a wealth of knowledge so have a pen and pad ready to write down her many recommendations. Our only complaint is that we didn't have enough time to try everything she suggested. The location is right in the heart of Dublin so its easy to get around on foot. The apartment itself is beautiful, from the red brick feature wall and the view over the rooftops to the cool and quirky styling. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Victoria.

We had a lovely time staying two nights with Victoria in her wonderful (could not be more central) 3rd floor shared apartment room. She is an A ++++++ host and our stay was most memorable for all the good reasons. Victoria is very energetic and spent the time necessary to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. All the details are taken care of right down to comfy bed linens and superb breakfast fixings. Her suggestions for what to see and visit around Dublin were spot on. Exceptional dining recommendations as well, put it over the top. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Dublin. Thanks Victoria!! John and Heather
