The location of the apartment is excellent if you like the area of Leicestersquare and Covent Garden. But the state of this apartment is disappointing. It really needs to be refurbished. One of the beds is good. The wifi was not working but Renato replaced it and made it work.
We had the worst experience of our lives renting apartments. When we were at the airport, the owner called us warning that the apartment was passing through a problem with the shower (problems in building pressure) and gave us two options: to return half the money and wait for the repair (that should be done in two days after we arrived) taking bath in another apartment of himself or to cancel the reservation. As we were at the last minute and we would not find somewhere else to book, we accepted the return. On the appointed day, the shower’s problem had not been solved yet and we remained without water throughout our stay there. The two showering options were with pots or go down 4 floors, up 4 more to the other apartment, down 4 floors again and finally go up 4 to return to ours. All very inconvenient and when asked he said he could not do anything because he already gave us half of the money. Additionally, there are rats in the apartment, which the owner assigned as "a problem of London" not of his apartment. Cleaning was in general very poor and the apartment full of dust. In addition, on the last day, when we were organizing everything to travel again, the internet fell, and two hours later when he "solved" the problem, he delivered a new modem but only one occupant of the apartment could use the internet. Terrible experience.
Yes it was unfortunate that you had a bad experience that is why you were given 2 options cancel or stay and have some refund i don't see why complain for something you choose to go for.On bank holiday weekend its difficult to have things fixed , the shower is been replaced after you left and is working fine . The internet does run out of data at times but i always get it up and running and it was't 2 hours before i replaced it i was there within minutes .The flat is clean when you arrive and its up to the guest to keep it that way , there has been no rat droppings in the flat or any sightings since I've started this business and i did not see any when i came to the flat . You can see from other reviews that you were unlucky with the shower. Everything else worked and i was as helpful as could be .
