Delightful studio apartment located in an ancient Convent. The Condo has a shared garden featuring also a swimming pool, quite uncommon in the very heart of Trastevere.
Trastevere is a beautiful and typical neighborhood, with plenty of historical beauties such as Santa Maria in Trastevere, Santa Cecilia, Ponte Sisto and very vibrant at night, with bars and excellent restaurants.
The property is located just a few steps (not even ten minutes walking) from Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Gianicolo, where you can enjoy the best view of the Eternal City.
The apartment is located in a quiet street, and it provides all the comforts. It features beautiful wooden beamed ceilings, a chimney and a splendid private patio with table and chairs, just outside the living area.
On a warm night sipping a glass of red wine on the patio is the best experience!
Off the main door, guests can enjoy the beautiful swimming pool plunged into the green shared garden.
Please note that from January 2015 we do only accept children as third guests.
For check-ins after 9 pm, it is applied an additional fee of 20 euro, after 11 pm, 40 euro. This fee is to be paid cash at check in time.
Rome City Council asks for a overnight accommodation tax on tourist service in the city. From the 1st of September 2014, this fee is 3,50 euros per night (10 nights maximum) per person (with the exception of children up to 10 years and Rome residents).
This fee, not included in the total rate, must be paid cash at check in time.

The location is absolutely incredible, right in the centre of Trastavere, a perfect staying point and base for anyone coming to Rome for a few days. Our little place had everything you need for a little home away from home. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest Cristinas place for any one looking for an authentic Rome experience. Although there is minimal transportation to and from trastevere, Christina left contact numbers and we had taxi pick up right to our door. We only saw her upon check in but she covered everything extremely thoroughly. Great stay!
We stayed for 5 nights here and it was the perfect base to see Rome. Kitchen is small but we were aware of that from previous reviews so it didn't matter. It's quiet, secure and hosts were always at hand if you needed them. Didn't use pool as it was March when we stayed but it would be fabulous in the summer. Would happily recommend this apartment to anyone, it was a real find. Thank you!
Felt like at home. Didn't want to leave. Very quiet place in perfect location.
We were met with Cristina’s daughter, Bianca, who speaks flawless English, and showed us around. Cristina's flat has lovely, quaint furnishings, far, far from the typical IKEA-flat, which gave amazing character to this already charming place. The bed is very good, the living room very pleasant to relax in. The kitchen nook is ridiculously tiny, but perfectly adequate for the morning caffè...
In such a busy neighbourhood as Trastevere (which, in addition to its well-known charm, is within easy walking distance of the historical center and the Vatican, among others), this incredibly quiet nest was a godsend. In February, we could only admire the swimming pool from outside... but we did enjoy the small patio for the evening drinks (although when the weather was wet, it tended to be a little green and slippery).
When we went away, we simply left the keys on the table, without needing a precise check-out slot, which was quite convenient.
In short, this is a perfect romantic hideaway for a couple !

My name is Cristina, I'm a middle aged woman born in Florence but lived most of my life in Rome.
I'm an art historian and gallerist, I run an art gallery in the centre of Rome specialized in drawings, both old master and 19th century. Art is my passion, so for me living in Rome and around its artistic beauties it's something uncomparable to anything else.
But my first satisfaction in life are my two sons, Matteo, 39, and Bianca, 26. The first is an artist, and the second one a university student, art history as well. I'm very proud of them, and I love spending time with my family.
As for my hobbies, I love reading, travelling and cooking. According to my friends and family, I'm an excellent cook!
I've travelled all around the world, as I'm a curious and active person, but I recently left my heart in Greece, Santorini to be precise, where i spend most of my holidays.
I enjoy getting to know cultures and their languages: I speak fluently English, French and Greek!
So, relating often with foreigners for my work, and being a traveller, I think that my experience as a host will be a satisfying experience for both me and the guests!
I hope that you will choose, and then love my apartments as much as I do: ieach in their own way, are beautiful places, and most of all, really peculiar, they have a lot of charme and personality.
