Delightful studio apartment located in an ancient Convent. The Condo has a shared garden featuring also a swimming pool, quite uncommon in the very heart of Trastevere.
Trastevere is a beautiful and typical neighborhood, with plenty of historical beauties such as Santa Maria in Trastevere, Santa Cecilia, Ponte Sisto and very vibrant at night, with bars and excellent restaurants.
The property is located just a few steps (not even ten minutes walking) from Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Gianicolo, where you can enjoy the best view of the Eternal City.
The apartment is located in a quiet street, and it provides all the comforts. It features beautiful wooden beamed ceilings, a chimney and a splendid private patio with table and chairs, just outside the living area.
On a warm night sipping a glass of red wine on the patio is the best experience!
Off the main door, guests can enjoy the beautiful swimming pool plunged into the green shared garden.
Please note that from January 2015 we do only accept children as third guests.
For check-ins after 9 pm, it is applied an additional fee of 20 euro, after 11 pm, 40 euro. This fee is to be paid cash at check in time.
Rome City Council asks for a overnight accommodation tax on tourist service in the city. From the 1st of September 2014, this fee is 3,50 euros per night (10 nights maximum) per person (with the exception of children up to 10 years and Rome residents).
This fee, not included in the total rate, must be paid cash at check in time.

Perfect location, cosy and charming flat, confortable bed and really calm .amazing backyard
we had a really nice time .
we would go again with pleasure
Cristina met us upon arrival & was so gracious, warm, & welcoming. Everything in the loft was as advertised. It is in a perfectly peaceful oasis, a beautiful retreat from busy Rome in a fantastic neighborhood. The pictures do not do justice to the tranquil get-a-way. My husband & I would most assuredly stay here again! Thank you, Cristina!
The description of the appartment and neighbourhood was totally accurate. Everything had worked very well with our host. Cristina advised us that the hairdryer was missing and immediately got a new one for us. the appartment is very cozy with a nice terrasse in a great area, with lots of restaurants and bars but still very quiet.
Although this apartment is in need of some definite TLC (namely a deep clean and fresh paint in the bathroom to cover the mold), it is in a great location in a relatively quiet apartment complex. The kitchen is small, but we were able to make do, and it was nice having a private patio where we could eat and relax. If access to the major sites is the most important aspect of a place, then this apartment is a solid choice. (Cristina also mentioned that maintenance wasn't able to take care of the painting/mold over the summer, so it is definitely something that she is aware of and will probably fix once the maintenance can be done.) FYI: We were able to walk to the Vatican, Forum, Borghese, etc in 20-45 minutes. There are also some terrific restaurants, shopping, and live music in this particular neighborhood.
The location is fantastic: right in the middle of Trastevere, but so quiet! The well maintained, very clean pool was a joy in our warm September week. The apartment is cool and dark, which is fine in summer; we feel however that the eternal shade might be bleak in winter - even now, the patio surface was greenish and slightly slippery. From May to September, this is the perfect choice.
Spent 3 days at Christina's property before heading to Sardinia. We enjoyed every minute the property is cozy and set in a lovely commune. The pool was great especially after visiting tourist attractions all day. In the evening we enjoyed all the little piazza's around the property. Christina's daughter greeted us and was very helpful. A lovely quirky property great for relaxing and ideal for exploring Rome. Thank you we had a great time x Jayne and Royston

My name is Cristina, I'm a middle aged woman born in Florence but lived most of my life in Rome.
I'm an art historian and gallerist, I run an art gallery in the centre of Rome specialized in drawings, both old master and 19th century. Art is my passion, so for me living in Rome and around its artistic beauties it's something uncomparable to anything else.
But my first satisfaction in life are my two sons, Matteo, 39, and Bianca, 26. The first is an artist, and the second one a university student, art history as well. I'm very proud of them, and I love spending time with my family.
As for my hobbies, I love reading, travelling and cooking. According to my friends and family, I'm an excellent cook!
I've travelled all around the world, as I'm a curious and active person, but I recently left my heart in Greece, Santorini to be precise, where i spend most of my holidays.
I enjoy getting to know cultures and their languages: I speak fluently English, French and Greek!
So, relating often with foreigners for my work, and being a traveller, I think that my experience as a host will be a satisfying experience for both me and the guests!
I hope that you will choose, and then love my apartments as much as I do: ieach in their own way, are beautiful places, and most of all, really peculiar, they have a lot of charme and personality.
