Gigi room is very nice, clean and convenient to go to subway station.
GiGi's place was centrally located with the Ladies Market across the road. However, do note that the room is really small. We had problems putting our luggage in the room as it was simply too small. The heater was not easy to control and it takes a while for you to get the hang of getting the right temperature for showering. In short, the location was great to compensate with the small room.
Location is excellent. Near mtr and near the bus stop to airport. Only room very smaLL.
This was the easiest check in I've had of the five places I stayed on my trip! It was easy to find, the Sun Hing building shows up on maps online. It's located about half-way exactly between the two MTR stations Yau Ma Tei (Exit A1) and Mong Kok (exit E1). So you can walk to or from either station depending on which way you are travelling.
The street markets and many great places to eat are just around the corner. Jook, Dim sum, noodles, convenience stores and larger restaurants too.
The room is well built and decorated, it very clean. It is a good size for one traveler, or a loving couple. It is a nice retreat from the busy streets below.
The location is very central and indeed very close from all sorts of transportation.
However, the room is very very small for three people, especially when they are travelling with one bag each. The third person has to sleep on a convertible futon, which is fine, but he/she gets woken up everytime one of the other 2 people need to use the bathroom/ open the main door to access the fridge, which is outside the room.
Gigi's apartment is nicely decorated, and situated in a very good location. It is a short walk to the MTR station and the ladies night market. There are plenty of eating and shopping places nearby.
The space constraint was rather uncomfortable though. There is a washer as stated, but it is not usuable. Overall, the cleanliness is acceptable, price is reasonable and location is excellent.
Gigi now has a locked box outside the apartment that you can access to leave bags in the hall if you arrive early and need to drop your bags off before book-in time. This is a great new feature. Thanks for this Gigi
Outstanding location right on Nathan Road. Convenient entry system; no need to wait for someone to meet you. This is definitely more of a small, budget hotel than a private home. In a building with multiple other small private hotels.
Gigi's room is right in the middle of great shopping and food. There is an elevator up to the room and the shuttle bus for the airport stops across the road. The room is very small and would be fine for a single person or a couple but I am travelling with my sister so when the single bed is pulled out from under the main bed there is no floor space. I had to step on her bed to go to the bathroom and put my suitcase on the end of my bed. Still, we managed and the room is clean and good value in Hong Kong.
Place was great. Smaller than it looks on the photos. But fine. Not really an entire apartment of your own. More line a private secured room of your own in an apartment with other rooms the same.
