We would like to have our guests to be respectful of the neighbors around us. We would like the house and property to be left in the same conditions they found it, except with the beds stripped and sheets and towels left in the laundry room.
Joanna and Rob were excellent. We had a long drive up to them and got caught in some heavy traffic in San Francisco arriving much later than we planned to. Joanna and Rob called us to make sure we were ok and not lost, even offered to come and meet us somewhere if we had trouble actually finding them.
We really appreciated that they waited for us to meet us and show us around even though they had helpfully labelled everything important, cupboards, light switches etc.
A lovely couple we would have really liked to spend an evening with to get to know a little better. Their house is on a nice hillside plot with gorgeous views and several neighbours close by, all of whom were very friendly and welcoming.
With beautiful views of the valley, Fairfax town centre and its local business only a 25 minute walk away with beaches, mountains & national parks not much further by car and San Francisco just a short drive over the bridge, it is hard to find fault with the location.
I had a wonderful experience staying at "Home Haven". Joanna and Rob greeted me warmly and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed while I was here. The house is truly beautiful, warm and bright, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It's the kind of place you'd expect to see featured in an architecture or gardening magazine. It's quite spacious and would make a great rental for a vacation or family gathering, with many inviting spaces both inside and out. You can feel the sense of family and the years care and dedication that have gone into this beautiful house.

Our hospitality has always received great reviews. I [Joanna] have worked at a local bed and breakfast and I delight in cooking. We look forward to serving you and the possibility of perhaps hearing your story over a cup of tea or complementary wine.
