Enjoy this fully remodeled house located right on the Great River Road, overlooking the Mississippi River where it is 3 miles wide! We purchased this house in February, 2019 and have made multiple improvements. We've owned the Grandview Motel just up the road a mile since 2006 so we have an excellent idea of what area visitors expect.

The space
Everything is fresh and new! Every room has fresh and jazzy new paint colors along with new beds, bedding and new furniture throughout. The bold colors highlight the live edge wood trim and we think it looks rather whimsical. Brand new HVAC system has been installed for your comfort (bye-bye window air conditioners, fans, and space heaters). You'll especially enjoy spending time in the screen porch relaxing in the HOT TUB. It also has all new furniture and has been totally updated for safety and comfort. Please note, the vintage fireplace is mainly for novelty and not a primary heat source.

We will allow well-behaved dogs (2 dogs max -- NO CATS). Pet fee is $110. Please include when you select how many guests you’ll have. They are not allowed to be on any furniture nor be left unattended in the house.

House is right in town and easy walking distance to local establishments. Grab breakfast next door at the Swing Inn, or walk up the street to Wooden Nickel or Sportsman for burgers & beers. We have a bank, convenience store, fireworks/tools/liquor store, Saturday Market in the Park. In the boonies but on the beaten path.

Sorry, NO OFF STREET PARKING is available at this location. Also, as seen in the photo of the exterior, the screen porch is DETACHED from the house.
