The flora summerhouse is unique, Icelandic and old-fashioned, 12 km from Egils-stations, located at the top and end of the summerhouse building. Exceptionally nice and beautiful views of the valley and the River Lagar. Bird watching, peace, romance, and coziness. Flora is a ground floor with sleeping air. The lower floor has an entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Sleeping loft has 3 beds. All beds are new with good quality. Crash stairs to sleep air. Housing is both fashionable and old-fashioned. On the terrace there are chairs and tables.

The space
In the house there is a steep hatch level up to the sleeping air. The stairs can be folded and the hatch closed. Note that stairs and hatches on sleeping air can be dangerous for children without supervision.

Where you’ll be

Floria Summer House is 12 km from Egil Stations and 13 km from Hallormsstaski Forest. Egil sites have outdoor pools with hot tubs and slides, restaurants, cafes, campsites, airports, and walking outdoor forests. Trap Town, 3 km from Egil Stations, has a 9-hole floor court. Walking up to Fardagafossi is short. Hallormsstad is the country's largest forest, with a tree-lined museum, hiking trails, campsite and restaurant. In the river valley about 20-25km from the settlement is Hengifoss, the third highest waterfall in the country. In River Valley is the Wilderness Centre, a hugely popular tourist destination, where the history of Iceland's wilderness is well understood. There is also a convent in the river valley, the house of the poet Gunnars Gunnarsson, which shows remarkable architecture.
