Our house in in a quiet cul de sac around the corner from some very good restaurants and lively pubs and is perfect for a stroll on the sandy beach or around the Cliff Road for some scenic views of the bay.
The spacious bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom. I can add a single bed if 3 people are staying.
All bedding, sheets and towels are provided. Tea and coffee is available, help yourself in the kitchen, or I'll make it for you. There is wireless internet throughout, a washing machine, and TV.
Continental breakfast (cereals, toast, croissants, yoghurt, jams, tea, coffee, orange juice etc.) are included in the price.
You can use the kitchen to prepare drinks and light meals.
Interaction with Guests
My husband Alec or myself, or both will be here to greet you and offer you tea or coffee when you arrive. Alec and I are happy to spend time with guests and likewise very happy to leave our guests to entertain themselves.
Tramore is a lovely little picturesque town in Co. Waterford. Our home is in the centre of the town with supermarkets, chemists, banks, dentists, doctors, etc. We are near the beach and all the activities.
TBay Surf and Eco Centre gives lessons and hires surf boards Tramore has the best beach in Ireland for surfing.
There are many very nice restaurants and pubs, and is lively in the summer with music and festivals.
The scenic landscape of Tramore, represented by the strand and cliffs, attracts many walkers. The Doneraile Walk, Cliff Road Walk, as well as the 5 km strand walk to the sand dunes. There are also guided walks.
Then there is Waterford City to visit. Waterford is the oldest city in Ireland. A walled city of Viking origins. The Viking Triangle area has Reginald's Tower, Bishops Palace, Medieval Museum, historical walking tours and of course, the Waterford Crystal Visitors Centre.
If you are arriving into Dublin airport and not hiring a car, there is an airport bus that takes you all the way to Tramore.
We are within minutes of the local bus station, buses go to Waterford City every 30 minutes, with on going connections to the rest of Ireland.
Just the usual - treat our house as you would like us to treat yours.
