Staying at Lucias was fantastic. Both Lucia and her husband were wonderfully welcoming, helpful and friendly. The house was full of lovely character - beautiful homely furniture which lent it a strong Italian ambiance. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast is amazing with all tastes catered for. Other guests ranged from Italy, Scandinavia, Canada and New Zealand.
I loved staying at Lucia's B&B. The room & bathroom were just right, and the best part was the fantastic breakfast outside under a canopy in the courtyard. Lucia checked in with us the night before about food, and accommodated my friend's gluten allergy, and made special vegetable dishes for me because I don't eat meat. The extensive buffet included everything you could want, including individually made expressos or hot chocolate. Lucia's husband met us at the airport & delivered us to the train station the next day, and also gave us a map & orientation to Pisa, with recommendations for dinner.
The next time I go to Pisa, I will definately stay there!
Lucia and Fabrizio were excellent hosts. The breakfast was the highlight--a multitude of tasty pastries, sandwiches, pizzas, fresh fruit, coffee, and so on. We had a few hours to waste after we had already checked out and before our train, and they allowed us to stay in the house and garden and even treated us to some watermelon. Fabrizio even acted as our "bodyguard" during breakfast, fending off a bee or two. On the negative side, the bathroom is shared between three rooms. We didn't have any issues, but easily could have with 10 guests sharing one bathroom.

About the Host, Lucia
