  • My stay could not have been any better! Paula is the best host you could ever ask for. She is extremely helpful, flexible and funny, and a really good person. She made me a big breakfast every morning, and I also got to eat a lot of different authentic romanian dishes. I was in Bucarest to learn romanian, and Paula was like a second teacher to me. Thanks to Paula, her friends and neighbours, I also learned a lot about Romania and romanian culture! The apartement is central, 10 minutes walk to the centre, and there is public transport and malls nearby. The room has all that you need, and is clean and bright. All in all I had the best stay, I would recomend it to anyone! :)

  • This place was perfect! Andrei's mother Paula was a great host, and the other people staying were very nice as well. Actually made some friends this way. Having breakfast ready for you in the morning is also great. There is a market very close for other food you can keep in the apartment as well. I recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable relaxing place to stay and budget friendly.

Also Paula's other son is great to help with everything you need.

  • I lived in the flat for one month and it was a perfect base for exploring and doing my stuff in the city. Paula is the best host you can imagine, very friendly, helpful and a great cook. So if you search for a nice place in Bucharest and want wo have a good picture of Romanian everday life, this is the place to go!
    Multumesc!

  • My time in Bucuresti was made very special due to my stay with Andrei's Mom. I could not have asked for a more warm, loving, open hearted welcome, then the one I recieved from Mama Paula and Marius (Andrei's brother), and the rest of the wonderful people that move in and out of their home.
The Room - has everything you could need, a TV, computer, A/C, comfortable bed, closet space, etc.
The Location - The apartment is not far from the centre and very easy to get to by bus, even from the airport.
Andrei - Fabulous communication and always ready to answer questions.
Mama Paula (real host ;-) ) - doesn't speak a lot of English, but did everything in her power to make my stay comfortable, she knows all about Romanian history... and she's an awesome cook!
Marius - always willing to help, interesting tips about Bucuresti and a fantastic conversationalist.
Thank you Andrei for having me in your home and allowing me to share 'true' Romanian hospitality and culture.
I recommend Bucuresti and staying at this location.

  • I stayed 17 days in Bucarest at Andrei’s mother appartment, Paula.
My stay was great. A genuine hospitality and kindness, typical Romanian food.
The area is not very nice - but it is close to everything by bus or by feet : mall, city center…
It is the place where to stay if you want to save money for your accomodation buget and meet Romanian people.
    I recommend this host.

  • This was my first airbnb experience and it was really great! After this, i also booked through airbnb in Vienna and Salzburg. After visiting those places, i came back to this place and stayed for few more days. Although, i did not meet Andrei, but he seemed to be a noble and great person through the communication. Andrei's mother is the best host one could ever find. She is kind, caring and treats a person as a member of the family. Andrei's family members, flat-mates and neighbours are wonderful people too. About the place, it has one of the best malls in the city, at a walking distance and Piata Unirii is also quite close. I would surely recommend this place for authentic romanian hospitality and cuisines.

  • I almost don't want to leave a review -- in my heart, I really want this place to remain a secret. But this place is what airbnb should be all about. If your travels take you to Bucharest and you like being surrounded by honest warmth, friendly smiling people, great conversation and wonderful food, this is truly an experience for you. It's close to the metro/light rail system and a scenic walk from several of the city's attractions along Piața Unirii, so it's easy to jump out in the morning and see one of the great overlooked capitals of the world. It's worth visiting Bucharest just to stay here!
