Located at the entrance of the Sassi and 500 meters from the central square, Lamia Matera 11 boasts a very impressive view of the Matera ravine. The original building (lamia) with the characteristic barrel vault has been recently renovated. The house is spread across 3 floors. There are two elegant double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and stunning views. A room with 2 single beds, which can be joined together, is located on the lower floor, entirely carved into the rock.

The building has been restored according to contemporary design lines to create refined, surprising, relaxing environments.
On the ground floor, the large living room with kitchenette is embellished with a golden staircase that winds around the double-sided fireplace. On this level is one of the bedrooms, with the elegant bathroom attached, overlooking the Murgia. On the lower floor, entirely carved into the rock, a cozy and spacious room, also with breathtaking views. Another double bedroom, with a bathroom, is located on the upper level, under the original tuff vault.
The play of windows, the large windows open up enchanting views of the surrounding landscape and allow you to feel immersed in the surrounding nature, while being in the heart of the ancient Sassi districts.
