This is the master bedroom in a three-bedroom flat in Brooklyn in the newly remodeled pre-war Edward Apartments. The classy remodel kept exposed brick walls and enormous south-facing windows. Kitchen is brand new and well-appointed by a foodie. The roof deck a few floors up (almost like an additional living room) is stunning. We have yet to find a more perfect spot for morning yoga or an evening smoke or beer. And it has a fireplace.
You get a Queen and plenty of dresser and closet space to make yourself at home. We have a hair drier, towels and toiletries for you.
You are located half a block from Bedford avenue, the center of the action in the coolest neighborhood in town. Nearby you'll find (among many more) The Sketchbook Project, Mast Brothers' Chocolate, Traif, Blue Bottle Coffee, Spuytin' Duyvil, Saltie, Pies 'n Thighs, Cafe Moto, Marlow & Sons, Marlow & Duaghters, EAT, the Brooklyn Kitchen, Fette Sau, Caracas, Barcades...
You're a five minute walk from the L train and one subway stop from Manhattan. You're also a nice walk to the beautiful East River Ferry, which puts you a few stops from Brooklyn Bridge Park, Downtown and Midtown.
We look forward to hosting you!
We absolutely loved our time in Williamsburg! Melanie was so incredibly welcoming and her excitement for the city made us excited as well. The room was exactly the same as in the pictures and the location was perfect for shopping, restaurants and bars. So close to Bedford ave and the subway station.
Melanie was a fantastic host who made our stay in Brooklyn very comfortable and enjoyable. She was super friendly and the place was kept very clean. It is very central and close to everything in Williamsburg. We really liked staying here and would definitely return again!
This apartment was nothing short of great: right in the middle of Williamsburg (a bunch of bars, restaurants, shops etc. nearby), you only have to walk five minutes to get to the next subway station (one stop to Manhattan); the room itself was super clean, the bed cosy as it gets, and besides the host - Melanie, who did everything to make ourselves feel very welcome - the greatest thing was the rooftop: from up there you have a fantastic view of NYC's skyline, especially at nights (see the fotograph!).
In short we'd definitely stay there again and recommend everyone to do so as well.
We had a brilliant time with the beautiful, lovely Melanie, in our Williamsburg big bedroom. We felt comfortable and safe at all times. She made sure that the place was spotless. The bed was very comfortable although the pillows were not, but we actually brought our own so that was handy. The room is not big at all but we managed fine in the tight fit along with two suitcases. The aircon was excellent with a vent into our room. We also had a window that opened up to the street. We met other guests while staying there. There is only one bathroom but we a managed quite well. We never really got in each other's way despite all the rooms being occupied. I found the 3 flights of stairs hard going but my daughter had no trouble with them. Melanie corresponded quickly making our whole arrival effortless. It was lovely to also meet her sister. The location is actually great; you are right in the centre of everything- so much to do- and a real quick subway ride to Manhattan. We just had a fantastic time! We love you girls!
Great location with unbeatable view. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
This apartement in Williamsburg was awesome and way more amazing than the pictures suggested. The view from the rooftop was just breathtaking and the location of the apartement was pretty much perfect for us. The best thing about staying at this place was Melanie, tho. She is the sweetest host and really knows how to make u feel like a local living in NYC then just a tourist. Thank you, Melanie!

About the Host, Jason
I am originally for California and my flatmate Stephan is from Boulder, Colorado. We are very laid back people who love to meet and greet interesting guests as they travel and explore New York City. We have many different hobbies between us and would like to hear what crazy hobbies you might have! We grow vegetables on the roof deck, collect spices from around the world, pickle just about anything, brew our own beer, play the ukulele, and love to cook. We look forward to hosting you and having some fun!
