The Space

Spacious, colorful, private ground floor residence on quiet street. Great location less than a block from delightful 24th street, near BART and two lines of MUNI, so easy to get anywhere you need without a car.

The apartment, itself, has a large living room with a tv and free wifi. The cheery kitchen has lots of pots and pans, ready to use! Tea and coffee can be made here, or saunter up to 24th street and have a perfect cup made for you. Cook up masterpieces made from goodies you found at the farmers' markets. Or eat out. Noe Valley boasts a myriad of foodie choices, many in short walking distance. Sit around the kitchen table by the window that looks out on the backyard. Take a bath in a claw-foot tub. Retire to the sumptuous bedroom for a serene night's sleep so you are rested and ready to do it again the next day!

Whether you are here on business, here to sight-see, or visiting friends/relatives, this is a great place to hang your hat.

*We are listing this one bedroom to accommodate four people, TOPS! The bedroom is furnished with a full sized, very comfy bed (holds 2). We think pullout couches are most uncomfortable, so have decided, instead, to offer Aero Beds. they are the raised mattress pillow-top and quick and easy to set up. The living room has more than enough space for this solution!

Pets are welcome! We have dogs right upstairs, who are quiet, mostly :)

Though there is a dishwasher pictured, it does not work. Guests are kindly asked to do their dishes by hand. Thank you!

  • When we arrive at our Airbnb in Noe Walley, we saw this beautiful apartment in a beautiful distric where everything we need is near to our apartment. Cabarnet greeted us really lovely and tell to us the nice place to go eat around her place. We had a really nice time in this place, with her lovely dogs who sometime come greet us. Bref, everything were awesome.

    Merci beaucoup Cabarnet!

  • From our first conversation with Cabernet, we were happy. When we arrived in San Francisco, the apartment felt warm, comfortable, and like a great place to call home for a week. We arrived to the apartment after walking up a HUGE/steep hill (see below) to find a beautiful arrangement of rainbow color flowers and a sweet note about what to do and expect. She was very kind in helping my partner get flowers delivered to the apartment for my birthday. The apartment itself was perfect. Lovely size and had just we needed and then some! I didn't expect there to be shampoo and other toiletries but there was! There were also goodies in the fridge left from prior tenants but we couldn't eat any (gluten free/Paleo). Cabernet informed us of the tenants that would be joining the house and renting the above space. She was up front with her dogs access needs to backyard and their Kong treat night time ritual. When we met her, she helped us figure out where to eat and how to get around. She is truly kind! We will hopefully be staying there someday again!

(side note: if you aren't getting a car, make sure to do ample research prior to taking the BART on how to get up the hill; we ended up walking it with our bags but I'm not sure all folks would be prepared for this hike).

  • Cabernet is a very kind and friendly host and we enjoyed the stay very much!! The area is very convenience from both San Francisco Airport and the central, and the house is big enough for 4 people. As things were well prepared, we never felt inconvenience during our stay. I also liked the air bed. Usually you cannot find it comfortable, but her air bed is as comfortable as normal bed. Also, what was most helpful for us was a big bath tub, especially when we walked a lot. We will definitely choose Cabernet's house again when we visit San Francisco!

  • Cabernet's apartment was perfect for my husband, daughter, and me. It is beautifully designed, charming and comfortable. The location feels just enough off the beaten path while also providing easy access to the rest of the city either on foot or via public transportation. And there are plenty of things within walking distance along 24th Ave. - coffee shops, bagel stores and bakeries, restaurants, a couple of banks, Walgreens, Whole Foods.

And Cabernet is such a gracious host. She met us shortly after we arrived to be sure that we had what we needed. We could also tell that she took some small but noticeable steps to set the apartment up for us - including setting up the extra bed before we arrived and setting the table for three. Small things but I appreciated her thoughtful attention to detail. We all slept well and had a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable time.

  • The host was friendly and very helpful. The apartment was very clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room for 4 people and the bed was very comfortable. There was fresh flowers and organic fruit. Our favorite part was the closed in patio that was a great place to have a cup of tea and read a book. There was also plenty of close free parking. It was perfect for someone traveling with 2 teenagers as they had their own space. We were walking distance to a nice coffee shop and a great Irish bar. A great place to stay and highly recommended.

  • We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was truly lovely and perfect for our family. It was our first airbnb experience and Cabernet made sure it was a great one. We would absolutely stay here next time we are in San Fran and will stay longer! The location was ideal and we loved walking to the Saturday farmers market :)

  • What a great place! Fabulous location just steps from trendy shops and cafes. And I can't express enough how clean the place was!! Also very roomy for a 1 bedroom. Cozy and comfortable to say the least. This being my first time using airbnb, the Cabernet's helped to make it a hassle free and rewarding experience. I will definitely stay here again during future visits to SF.

  • Stayed at Cabernet's beautiful apartment with a few friends last week for a conference.
We loved the neighbourhood (Noe Valley), and it was near the great restaurants and shopping of the Mission, as well as Dolores park.
We had everything we needed in the apartment, and the host was accommodating and responsive.

  • Cabernet was there when I arrived, friendly, energetic and welcoming. I enjoyed meeting her and found her to be very accomodating of my schedule and needs. The flat was very comfortable and the kitchen clean and pleasant, well-stocked with basics and beyond. The air bed in the living room was very satisfactory, with plenty of room for other furniture, and allowed me to give the bedroom to my daughter and fiance with privacy for each of us. The house is just a half block away from 24th St., the main shopping street for this neighborhood, and my daughter and I had fun browsing the shops, some of which feature local designers and are intriguing and unique. We didn't use the garden in back, as we were occupied with friends' wedding events, but it added lightness and whimsey to the place. I would gladly return whenever I needed two sleeping areas for the family.

  • Cabernet is such a sweet host! We absolutely felt at home when we get there. The place was extremely beautiful and well decorated. You can pretty much find everything you need and make yourself comfortable during the stay. Parking was not a problem and we loved the nice neighborhood with convenient laundry places and grocery stores within walking distance.

My husband, Martin and myself have lived here for 10 years. We love to hike and camp and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We love to eat great food, which is really easy to do in this city! We have 3 wonderful, kooky dogs that we take to the beach and try to provide wonderful lives for. They bring us so much joy and always put a smile on our face. Martin is from Ireland. He enjoys walking and going to the gym. I am a native San Franciscan and grew up in this very house. I am a proud member of the Noe Valley Guild of Knitters :) We hope that your visit to this great city is a fabulous one!
