  • Far and away the nicest apartment in which I have stayed in Amsterdam. Comfortable and well appointed room, despite François' saying it was very small (it's a lot bigger than some). Perfect for me, being just around the corner from the opera, and hope to stay again soon. François himself could not be more welcoming and helpful. A lovely visit, even having a terrible head cold.

  • This was my first Airbnb experience, and I was very impressed with François' hospitality and care. He made sure nothing was lacking, gave me directions when needed, and was very friendly and well mannered.
Also, being right outside the city's center, the area is nice and quiet at night, while the center can easily be reached by foot.
Thanks again, François. I'll see you next time I'm staying in Amsterdam!

  • Francois was the most amazing host! His apartment was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Francois amazing hospitality made his place the first place that really made us feel like we were at home on our 6 weeks around Europe. The location couldn't be better and the breakfast was delicious. We will stay with Francois again and we will be sending our friends and family to stay with him to. Thanks again Francois for making our trip to Amsterdam memorable!

  • I booked a room for my mom here, she loved her stay very much, said the bed was very comfortable, and the apartment was beautiful, clean and spacious.
Francois didn't spare anything and also helped us with a local travel card of public transport and a museum card. He was warm and caring and helped us feel at home away from home. I recommend staying here and will consider advising all my friends and family to stay at his place if they come by.

  • This was my second time at François home. As the first time it was a pleasure to share this comfortable and centric flat with him. The place is as nice as the host. He's really attentive and polite so you can feel at home all the time. You have a nice room for you, a big bathroom, an amazing living room and a kitchen with views to the city plus a enviable terrace full all flowers. The perfect place to spend somedays in Amsterdam an feel at home. Thanks again, François.

  • Nieves and me spent three incredible days in Amsterdam! Francçois was more than a host. He helped us in every trouble and suggested many plans!
The bedroom was very cosy and in spite of have separate beds, there was no problem to put them together and sleep as if it was a double bed.
The bathroom is one of the highlights. It is very spacious and bright, everything was clean and cute decorated.
We had freedom to use the whole apartament, so we felt as home.

Maybe one of the most important aspects, is the central location. We could go everywhere by walk and there were many important sites as rebrandt's house, metro, markets, central station... close to the apartament.

We absolutly recommend this house because our experience was amazing and we will come back as soon as posible.

About
I live in the great city of Amsterdam since 1996. I am carrying a Belgian passport and working for an Irish multi-national company. I love travelling (love-hate relation with travelling) and have been around on this planet.... . for work alone already to over 70 countries. Next to travelling I love jogging, running (1/2 marathon is my favorite), yoga (ashtanga) and meditation. Please do not hesitate to send me a message if you need more information. I look forward meeting and hosting you, François
