Conveniently located just blocks from I-5, as well as Hwy 99, the loft is nestled among old-growth douglas fir trees in a quiet neighborhood. You'll feel like you have one foot in the city and one foot in the forest. Tuck in to the cozy retreat and take a hot, relaxing bath or unwind on the patio in front of a warming fire while watching the chickens wander. Guests of all backgrounds are welcome in this home.

The space
This lofted studio comfortably sleeps 4 guests. There is a king bed in the loft and a surprisingly comfy sofa bed in the main space. The studio also includes a full bathroom, kitchenette, and living room. The living room area features TV with Netflix and Hulu. The space shares one wall with the main house where the hosts reside. There is both heating and air conditioning.

The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, 2-burner stovetop, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven. Note, there is no oven.

The backyard is shared with the homeowners, their sweet dog Elenor, and 6 free range chickens. The homeowners are also beekeepers. The bees keep to themselves and no guests have been stung. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to send a message to the hosts.

Guests are encouraged to use the BBQ and the seating area with fire pit while making themselves at home. Parking is free and plentiful with two driveway spaces for guests and plenty of street parking.

Guest access
The loft will be your private space. Two driveway spaces are reserved for guests. The backyard is shared, but guests have priority for use of the BBQ and firepit. So, enjoy!

The hosts live in the main house that is attached by one wall.

My partner, Josh and I spent a year converting our garage into a fun, lofted, living space. We both started out with some very basic carpentry skills. Now, thanks to YouTube and a lot of hours with tool belts on, we feel like proper carpenters. We'll let you be the judge! We enjoy being outside, camping, hiking, and gardening. We also love adventuring with our sweet and energetic pup, Elenor. The Pacific Northwest has become home for us, and we're thrilled to have guests come explore this stunning part of our country.
